This location is hit or miss. About every other visit is good, the other times bad. I usually order breakfast and have found it is better when ordered after noon, and usually not very good in the morning. I order the Country Boy breakfast with country ham. Some times, I get a full slice of Ham, other times it’s about half a slice. We went this morning 3/17/18 for breakfast and it sucked! It wasn’t that busy and we were seated immediately. Our server took our drink and food order (we already knew what we wanted to eat) and that was the last time he ever came back to the table. Our drinks were brought out by another server, and then the wait was on. We waited over 30 minutes before yet another server(appeared to be a manager) brought half of our food out, and said “do y’all need anything else?”....”yeah, the rest of our food would be nice!”. He left and about 10 minutes later, he brought out 2 half cooked doughy biscuits that weren’t even browned at all, and the rest of our food. The scrambled eggs looked like they had been cooked a while because they were dry and tough. The hash brown casserole was old looking and dry and a very small portion. I got what amounted to half a slice of country ham in broken up pieces. This was the absolute worst meal we’ve ever had at any Cracker Barrel, anywhere. I started to complain, but at this point we had already been sitting there for 45 minutes and were hungry so we choked some of it down and left. When paying, the girl asked “was everything ok today?”...I couldn’t help but say “No, No it wasn’t....just about everything about this visit wasn’t OK”....She asked a couple of times to get a manger for me, but I told her no, what’s done is done, and told her it wasn’t her fault so don’t worry about it. I usually leave a tip even when my dining experience isn’t very good, but everything sucked today, so it was hard enough to pay for what they gave us as a “meal” much less a tip. Beware of this Cracker Barrel...like I said I’ve eaten here about 10 times and usually every other time is subpar, but this visit was the...

Read moreActively sitting here watching the three tables that sat down 20 minutes after us getting their checks while we have no food. It's been over an hour since we were sat and we still don't even have our cornbread. It's evident we were forgotten about . Not once in the over hour that we've been here have they stepped foot at our table. She forgot to put our order in, that's fine. What wasn't was ignoring us and the lack of communication about it. We're both servers too and have worked in the industry for years we have patience and grace for mistakes. Not for pride that overshadows communication. Thankfully I know their name and can decline them in future instances. We sat at 6:35, it's 8:02 now and we still don't have food.
Update food came at 8:15. Cold. Without sour cream, without chives, without a marshmallow, and missing a sweet potato. No manager apologized and nothing was comped. Nope never again I absolutely regret introducing my friend to this chain tonight as she is adamantly not coming back.
Foods usually good. This restaurant in particular is spectacularly below subpar.
OH AND there was a dog there that clearly wasn't a service dog sitting on the man's lap next to us and no one seemed to have a problem with that. As a disabled person who can't bring her own service dog out in public because of behavior like that, I'm appalled. It's absolutely disgusting to see an establishment allow such an abuse of power as to make an environment so uncomfortable for service animals, essentially someone else's medicine! Truly had my service dog been there at that time, that lap dog would have distracted my animal from notifying me of issues that would have needed...
