Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings — Restaurant in California

I cannot in good conscience tell my fellow cheese steak lovers that this Chicken Philly Cheese Steak sandwich is on par with Jersey Mike's.

However, it's better than subway, but that's not saying much. I might even go as far to say quiznos is better.

Here's the facts:

Messy open sandwich presentation -NO seasoning on the Chicken or bread

I repeat NO seasoning 😔=average sandwich

Bread was average Cheese was average Good portion of meat though

On the plus side, I did try the ultimate gourmet fries, and they above average and inexpensive. They were good, I don't have a pic because I ate all of it lol.

I would love to raise the stars on my review, as I want to support, but I encourage this restaurant to step it's game up, because I'm going back to...

I come here often with my family and let me tell you, they don't pay these people enough. But after today I'm thinking they get paid exactly what they deserve. The environment is wack, feels like a waiting room in there. The customer service is usually subpar. I ordered a classic Philly cheese steak with mushrooms (paid extra) 2 large drinks ($8) and wings(10) . I had assumed she was going to make it into a combo since I got the drinks as well. She had attitude the whole time and my LARGE cheese steak sandwich ($16) came out wrong. I didn't even get my mushrooms. We paid over $30 for this food. Not coming back.

Update: we have food poisoning... again, not a surprise considering the employees...

Here's the thing the people were actually really friendly but after expressing how much I wanted to get mayo and mustard for my sandwich on the side what happened I left there without on the side and this is what the aggravating they ask you for a tip when you're paying why would I give you a tip when you can't even give me what I want I mean they need to get rid of this automated tip question they can't even get it right so why would I tip you I just don't agree with it and lastly it smelled like the sewer backed up in there so that's never appealing when you're ordering food all in all I'd pass on...
