After a long day at Universal Studios and the theme park closing at 6pm... we needed dinner before driving home. We were very thankful to find a gluten free restaurant at Universal CityWalk. It was hard to find at first because the Firehouse Subs is upstairs and google maps said we had arrived at the wrong location. Once we found it, my son was able to order a gluten free sandwich and we reminded the staff to open new packages of food and use fresh utensils etc. to avoid cross contamination with wheat. The gluten free bun costs extra and it was in our opinion an expensive sandwich to begin with, but my son loved eating that sandwich, smiled so big to eat out like everyone else, and was so excited just to eat something new. Because of that, we would absolutely bring my son back here next time we visit Universal Studios (as we are hoping to get an annual pass).
