*to the reply: Even if the food was cooked properly, it would not be worth the cost. You obviously didn't read my review to understand it. 🤷🏼‍♂️ 1st time here and was shocked at how pathetic it is. How is your food lower quality than Walmart brand froze fries and chicken strips? Cashier, do you want lemonade. Yes please just a half a cup my son likes to mix flavors. Pay and see on the receipt an upcharge for a half of a cup of lemonade?? Y'all are paying that much more for lemonade than all other drinks?? So I ensure my son will get a refill of it, yet the cashier stood there on his phone as my son waited. My son returned to the table and says he doesn't see me (my son is 5ft 6in so taller than the counter). I send my son back and another employee helped my son while the cashier was still on his phone, please see the pictures. The chicken was not crispy, it was not raw, but needed more time to cook. Average flavor. Frozen chicken strips from Walmart are 5x better than these, and bigger. The fries were mostly floppy and undercooked also. What is so special about the sauce that it is so restricted to a tiny cup?? Like why not give enough sauce for 4 little chicken strips. The bread is bland and soft, typically bread would be dipped in gravy or have butter to put on it, nope just dry bread to eat. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Be nice if they had just chicken, fries, and drink option. Keep the bread and bland coleslaw. It'll save a fork from the landfill also. Add another strip and fries for the same price, properly cook the food, 2 sauce cups, and this would maybe be a 3 star meal. Oh and ask if we want to upgrade to a lemonade. It was nothing special. I've made fresh squeezed lemonade and this was not it. There is no reason I'd ever go back. $27 for 2 mediocre meals. I can buy 5x the food frozen at Walmart and toss in an airfryer at home and have it be crispy. And have BBQ sauce as my preferred sauce to dip. The restrooms were very dirty and out of TP, glad they had seat covers to make due with... I bet this place could be better with a better manager. Don't bother replying to have me call you, do a better job of running a business and ensuring the food is cooked properly. I wouldn't go back for free food at this location. The other low reviews are accurate as I experienced.

Raising Cane’s Chicken has opened a new location in Rancho San Diego/El Cajon in June, 2023. We decided to order dinner so we got into the short drive-thru line. We noticed that they have limited menu, like 4 combo options. An employee took our order as we drove by but he didn’t take cash payment. We found out that cash payment was collected at the food pick up window. Strange practice. Normally, payments should be collected at a separate window before the food pick up window. We waited about 3 minutes before getting our finger chicken sandwich combo meal. It comes with French fries but they allowed us to substitute it with cole slaw. The sandwich has 3 pieces of chicken fingers, lettuce and the famous sauce. The delicious and made-to-order quality of the fried chicken fingers was great, tender, juicy and meaty and the sauce balanced out the sandwich. The cole slaw was creamy (not runny like some chained restaurants) and crunchy. Overall, we liked our chicken sandwiches, tender and tasty to the last bite.

Update: 11/26/2024 I usually enjoy Raising Cane's, but my recent visit left me frustrated. It’s clear that prices have gone up, yet the portion sizes have noticeably decreased. For example, I ordered a regular meal, and the kids' meal had more fries than mine. Shrinkflation is disappointing, especially when you're paying more and getting less. The food still tastes great, but the lack of value is hard to ignore. I hope Raising Cane's reconsiders this trend to keep customers coming back. --- I recently visited Raising Cane's, and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with their service. My wait time exceeded 20 minutes, and what frustrated me even more was that they continued to serve guests who arrived after us. This slow service left a lot to be desired, and it's not what I expect from a fast-food restaurant. I hope Raising Cane's can work on improving their service efficiency in the future.

My recent dining experience at Raising Cane's left much to be desired, as the quality of the food failed to meet even moderate expectations. From the bland taste to the lackluster presentation, it was clear that the restaurant fell short of delivering a satisfying meal.

The main culprit of my disappointment was the chicken, which was notably dry and lacked the flavorful seasoning that Raising Cane's is often praised for. The texture was disappointingly tough, leaving me longing for a more tender and succulent bite.

Accompanying the underwhelming chicken were the fries, which failed to impress. They arrived lukewarm and lacked the desired crispness, resulting in a lackluster side dish that failed to elevate the overall dining experience.

Moreover, the limited menu options at Raising Cane's offered little variety, leaving little room for customization or personal preferences. As a result, the lack of diversity in their offerings became apparent, making it difficult to cater to a broader range of tastes.

While the service was adequate, it was unable to compensate for the subpar food quality. The staff was friendly and attentive, but the overall experience was overshadowed by the disappointment I felt with the lackluster flavors and uninspiring meal presentation.

In conclusion, my recent visit to Raising Cane's left me unimpressed with the quality of the food. From the dry and flavorless chicken to the lukewarm fries, the overall culinary experience fell short of expectations. With limited menu options and a lack of variety, it is challenging to find a dish that truly satisfies. I hope that Raising Cane's takes steps to improve the consistency and flavor profile of their offerings to provide a more enjoyable dining experience for...

There is usually a crazy long line at this spot specially being that it just open a couple weeks back. But let’s be honest there is all ways a crazy long line at all canes . But just like at In n Out . It’s flows pretty fast . But this past Sunday the 16 me my family drove by and there was no line so we decided to stop by and get lunch for the whole family . We drive up and there only one car in front of us . But it not moving or ordering. We try ask the young man that keeps walking back forth what’s going . He just keeps ignoring us so we call the store to see what going on . We ask if there system is down or something is wrong . A very rude woman let’s no that there is nothing wrong and that she will open another lane . They in fact do open another but let the car behind move forward. And at this point we having been waiting for over 15 mints it the extremely hot en Cajon heat

We’re finally able to order so we ask the young man , hey so what happened He was very rude and had a attitude the hole time he did answer any questions He just keep asking is that anything Els to order. Ones we place are order we drive up to window we’re yell by a young woman to reverse back, only drive forward when told so by here 5 mins she waved us to move forward Another 5 mints later a very sweet young Hispanic woman let’s us no it’s going be another 5 mints and she apologized for the Waite time and gives us or drinks And only after the 3 cars behind us get there meals we finally get of orders

And yes the food was good like all ways It just took over 35...
