While this is my 1st review 10/'19 for this location, I have been to this fast-casual (walk up counter order), quality food restautant a half dozen times over the last handful of years (as well as their mid-town location): -- Their comfort-type, quality, ready made deli case foods (hot, cold, & desserts) is a consistent pleaser in taste, appearance, and speed of coming from case to table. They also offer burgers, pizzas, salads that are fresh made to order. -- A delectable array of dessert options (slices of cake, pastries, cookies) fill two entire display cases, plus other wrapped/candy desserts on top. A sweet-tooth's heaven must stop. -- A boastful selection of red/white wines , and beer. -- Spacious inside eating area with lots of tables (napkins & metal utensils on every table). Decent sized outdoor seating starts in front, and wraps around right side of this corner business. -- While handicap parking is front right of business, be prepared to walk distance to front door--due to parking on right, but ramp access far left of front doors takes one even further away from front door as it zig-zags. -- Odd, shared building restroom around back of building shared by all retail tenants' customers. Have not yet...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent for an early dinner with a friend at 4pm on a Monday. I normally like this place but we didn't have a good experience. There were only a couple people in there. I think because of the time of day. We stood for several minutes waiting to place our order while employee after employee walked right past us like we were invisible. No acknowledgement that we were standing there or anything. Finally after about 4 minutes, someone took our order. The girl had trouble swiping my debit card and ended up charging me double for my salad. I had to call the next day to ask that it be reversed. When the server brought our salads we asked about silverware and he pointed to a table where we could go and get it. I guess I knew you had to pick up your own silverware but forgot. But they were not busy at all and a good server would have fetched it for us as a courtesy. Not a big deal, but just shows they don't have that special customer service awareness. The salads we ordered were predominantly all kale and less lettuce. It was just okay. Seems like this place is slipping a bit. I don't remember having such experiences like this before. Might give it one more try but if the experience is similar, probably...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI like this place because it has a nice view on the fountain and overall is nice. The staff is mostly nice and try to be helpful. But I can't leave 5 star for two reasons, first the prices are super ridiculously high for what they offer. Literally anytime any item ordered is like $30 bucks. Latest visit I got their grilled cheese sandwich with chicken, a bit of chicken salad and apple juice. Guess how much? $30. 31 as left a buck for tip, even though they are not restaurant you order at cashier. Also their menu said it has onions but the sandwich they gave me had no onions. The second reason is their pizza tastes good but they cook it to where its dark and burnt, which of course is not good and also messes up the taste, they claim it's because they use wood stove but I've been to many other places with wood stove and they don't burn their pizza like that. This place uses quality ingrediants and salads are very good. But the prices are way too high and are not justified by any means. One time I got a sprite with some food, the sprite can was $2.50, plus tax of course, we all know how much these cost at the store if you buy a pack, the margin is...
