Highly recommend purchasing from this shop. I went on a trip to California and stopped by this little shop. Carly was great and helped me pick out a purse that day. She even brought out additional options from the back room when I mentioned the style I was going for. When I got home I realized there was some faulty stitching on one of the straps. I figured I would just be out of luck. But decided to message the manufacturer to see if I could purchase a replacement. The manufacturer put me back into contact with Carly. She actually reached out to me and remedied the situation so quickly. She then kept me updated on when the new strap was ordered from France (!!) and then she shipped it to me at no additional cost. I always try to shop with local businesses and was so glad I did this time. I highly recommend purchasing from here. If it were any other large brand store I would not have had the same level of service. Thanks again Carly for being so patient...
Read moreBrought friends from Scotland to Calistoga and stopped in the shop. My friend saw a hat that she liked. We asked the gentleman there for price info. He asked the manager (owner?) who snapped back a price. When my friend asked what the hat was made from, she snapped out the word leather. The hat was too small and my friend asked about a larger size, so the gentleman trying to help us again asked the manager. The lady checked in the back and then called out to the guy helping us that there were no more. We left, but my friend really liked the hat and went back to get more information about it, but the lady was so rude to her. That woman could have offered to check with her distributor, or helped her some other way. My friend was willing to drop $200 on the hat and had it stretched, but definitely not buying anything from this store after the lack of...
Read morePicayune is more than a wine tasting—it’s a beautifully curated experience where every bottle and mercantile item tells a story. What makes it truly special isn’t just the wine itself, but the intentionality behind every collaboration and connection. From the moment you step in, you can feel the heart behind what’s been built here. Gera was phenomenal—guiding us through the tasting with expertise, warmth, and a deep understanding of how culture, collaboration, and storytelling can make wine magical. Some bottles we bought for the taste, others for the story or label design—but every choice felt meaningful. If you want a tasting that feels personal, thoughtful, and distinct from anything else in Napa, Picayune is...
