I was in Calumet for the day and I had to stop by for pasties. They absolutely did not disappoint. Best traditional pasty I’ve ever had, and I recommend trying the green pepper pasties too. They gave us a green pepper pasty to try and I’ll definitely be going back for them next time I’m in town. Excellent service and very friendly. A must stop when you’re in Calumet!

Only got the beef pasties. Both the filling and the dough needed salt. The pastry was nicely formed with a good traditional crimp, but the filling didn't have enough structural integrity to not fall out at the first bite. Pasties are supposed to be hand pies. I should be able up hold it and eat it without making a mess or needing a fork.

Just wanted some cheese soup that they serve every Tuesday just for it to taste like cardboard and moldy cheese. The color was orange which it never is and the texture was grainy. Would not recommend!!

Living in Milwaukee, pasty options are rare and usually underwhelming. Having been born and raised in Keweenaw County, I know my way around a good pasty. But not being back as frequently as I used to be, things change. So I had to use my resources and survey “who has the best pasties?” My goal was to stow some stuffed-folded-crusts of goodness in my cooler to bring some back with me so that I may have them on hand for quite some time. Low and behold, the former “Connie’s Kitchen”, now owned by Jen and renamed “Jen’s Kitchen” won the popular (and electoral) votes. I picked up my savory treats today and headed back to Milwaukee with the mouth-watering smell of my breakfast pasty filling the passenger compartment of my car. I couldn’t take it anymore so I ate it. And I ate it quick because it was that…damn…..good! Wow!

Thank God I have three more of those and three regular ones because I’m sure I’d be kicking myself in the booty if I hadn’t gotten as many as I did today.

Jen, Staff, keep up the great work. Be proud of the product that you’re putting out. I will reluctantly share one of each with a buddy at work (he knows his pasties pretty well too) because I want him to have the same “Wow” experience that I did. But selfishly, I want to be able to also say to him, “See? My town’s pasties ARE better than your town’s pasties!” 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼.

One suggestion: Don’t change a...

We had pasties today for lunch! Outside of my mothers, these were pretty darned good! Crust was perfectly cooked, not to much shortening either which for me can just ruin a good pasty, and the filling was diced which we prefer. It had a really good blend of veggies to meat. Made for a great lunch! We could have actually split one and been satisfied. Seasoning was fine. Just really good! Came out piping hot. We also had some turnovers and an assortment of cookies. Shocking I know, but they were great as well!!! I need to head back for some soup and crusty rolls! Perfect...

Craving a pasty. My first choice was the superette but they have pasties tomorrow. Then tried Tony's but they were closed. I was out of ideas and the husband drove us to subway. Then I saw this place advertising pasties. So we went there instead. I had the best pasty ever. It was perfectly portioned and baked. I also got a 7 layered bar which was delicious and tried my husband's daily special which was really good too! All around...
