Located in the heart of Blue Island, SugaChurro is a delightful addition to the local culinary scene, offering a tantalizing array of freshly made churros that are sure to delight the senses. As a brand new mom-and-pop bakery, it embodies the charm and intimacy that one seeks in a neighborhood establishment. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of freshly fried churros wafting through the air, setting the stage for a truly mouth-watering experience. The cozy interior exudes warmth and hospitality, inviting visitors to linger and indulge in the simple pleasures of homemade treats. But it's the churros themselves that steal the show at SugaChurro. Crispy on the outside, yet delightfully soft and fluffy on the inside, each bite is a symphony of flavors that transports you to the bustling streets of Mexico. The traditional Mexican flavor shines through with every mouthful, evoking memories of street vendors and sunny afternoons spent savoring these delectable treats. The churros are something else; these churros have the homemade style, they are crispier and thinner with lots of cinnamon and sugar. Whether enjoyed plain or dipped in a variety of decadent sauces, the churros at SugaChurro are truly a revelation. Each bite is a perfect balance of sweetness and spice, with just the right amount of crunch to satisfy even the most discerning palate. In a world of mass-produced snacks, SugaChurro stands out as a beacon of authenticity and quality. With its warm atmosphere, friendly service, and mouthwatering churros, it's quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Whether you're craving a sweet treat or simply looking to indulge in a taste of Mexico, SugaChurro is a must-visit destination for churro lovers in...

I was looking for a churro filled with cheesecake and this location popped up. It was a short drive, so I was up for it. Rather than get a typical churro, I opted for the churro cheesecake. It was a big disappointment. The portion was substantial, but the top was the only edible portion. The inside was hard and tasteless, so I didn't finish it. It was not worth the $7+ dollars.

The young lady who waited on me was pleasant, but NEVER changed her gloves. She handled utensils and the register with the same gloves. There was a fly flying around, and uncovered cheesecake sitting on the counter, which she packaged for someone else. The one I received was from the pre-packaged selection and already boxed. I had caramel sauce added, rather than the fruit toppings. It's not likely that...

Service wasn’t anything special , it’s best to do take out. No one speaks to you like at all which was kinda weird. They have an ordering machine in there which doesn’t work but they don’t tell you that), I’m not sure why. I tried the strawberry shake which was soupy and unsweet and when we tried to get a refund for it the cashier was like you let it sit, and we were there for like 10 minutes tops , we got the refund but I’d steer clear of the shakes? I tried the vanilla, strawberry and chocolate churros. The vanilla and strawberry churros were great , the chocolate was my least favorite because they use Nutella. The sundae funnel cake was phenomenal. The inside was very pretty and quiet so if you don’t mind the service (or lack there of) I’d go just...

I had an amazing experience at Suga Churros! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was outstanding. A special shoutout to Hugo—he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made our visit truly memorable. His kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made all the difference. Also, the açaí bowl was absolutely amazing—so fresh and flavorful! Thank you, Hugo, and the entire team for such a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be back !
