Horrible service on 1/16 around 4pm. Young Hispanic guy making the sandwiches was very condescending. I explicitly told him no to Mike's way and listed what ingredients that I wanted on my sandwich. He then proceeds to make my sandwich and an online order at the same time and puts vinegar on both. I politely tell him that I didn't want vinegar on the sandwich (which I never asked for).
The worker then remakes the sandwich and was almost done and then decides the lecture me how I should order the sandwich Mike's way minus the vinegar. I explain that I don't order it that way because there are 3 other Mike's way ingredients that I don't get. Hence it's easier just to tell him what I want on the sandwich. Conversation should have been done there.
The worker kept pushing back saying that's not how he's trained to make sandwiches. As a customer, I don't know your training methods but I know that with basic listening skills this could have been avoided. If I say what I want on my sandwich, make it with those ingredientes and move on.
Ultimately the worker messed up on my sandwich and should have accepted his mistake and remade the sandwich and moved on with his day. Instead he tried multiple times to place the blame on me as the customer. Very poor customer service skills. Do not recommend this...
Read moreOnly been here twice and had very unpleasant experiences both times with the same girl. Thought the first time was a fluke or bad day for her but clearly she’s consistently rude. Long story short, I was given a lot of attitude, and horrible customer service. Employees shouldn’t be having rude side conversations with each other right in front of the customer when you should be listening to how they want their sandwich prepared. Employees should also not be rude and nasty to fellow coworkers at anytime but especially not in front of a customer trying to order. And a food service employee definitely shouldn’t be slamming bread and food around and slapping ingredients sloppily onto a sandwich that someone is supposed to eat. And if a customer wants to cancel their order, They should be able to without being yelled at or questioned as They are walking out. I love Jersey Mike's and probably eat here on a near-weekly basis. Since I continue to eat here, I guess I reward mediocrity so that's on me.
I order online from my office and end up with a pickup time that varies from 15 minutes to 60 minutes out. I get that things get busy at lunchtime so I appreciate that info; however, the bigger issue is that my sandwich is VERY rarely ready on time. More often than not, it hasn't even been started. Also, the personality of the staff at this location is definitely lacking.
At one point, I sent an email to the representative that replies here sharing my issues and concerns and got a non-response there. Seems that they just don't care, but then I keep ordering sandwiches here so why...
