Rude staff and management , I am from Minnesota. In Minnesota we get temporary license until our hard copy comes same as almost any other state I've been to, has my photo on it Minnesota department department of public safety water mark etc it's an official temp license (he's even said he's seen a temporary license before like that so not sure if he suspected mine wasn't real when it has government watermark), I received my rental car with it, got on the plane with it , checked into my hotel with it , have brought tobacco with it but they tell me they won't accept it as if it's not official and as if it didn't display that I'm 29 years old. I am a travel dialysis technician and just wanted to enjoy a glass of wine after work but now I have to fight through Boston traffic and ruined my entire mood. I didn't even feel like going to another store after that, official documents are official documents , what can I do about that fact that my state doesn't print hard copy license right then and there? I shouldn't be denied to buy things that I have a right to buy with my license. He followed up and said I can use it if I also have a passport as if I'm an idiot a passport alone needs no other identification so why would I pair a passport with my temporary id? Unfortunately I shop here regularly as it’s the most convenient place due to proximity to the supermarket. It’s easily 2/3$ mark up on liquor and not great beer prices. But I pay it happily - and am in there 3-4 time a week. Probably spend $100 weekly. What I would consider a regular customer. They do not care about the customer. They close early and lock the door 5 min before the posted closing time.. right before I went to walk in a grab a 6 pack (would take less than 2 min) the manager locked the door. Ignores my knocking, and then was a defensive jerk when I asked him why when he came out right at the posted closing time. Very nice shop with quite a lot of alcohol to suit all tastes. Very pleasant staff. I would especially like to mention Mr. Edward who was very attentive and courteous, advised us and picked out some very good options for us. His recommendations were very helpful and helped us to make a good choice which we were all very happy with, which we are very grateful for.
