Suzy's Scoops (Ice Cream and Espresso) — Restaurant in Cannon Beach

The best Ice cream spot in Cannon Beach! Whether you come for a nice big scoop on a waffle cone, a refreshing milk shake, or one of the various caffeinated items (the affogato is a must) you'll be happy to know that there is literally no wrong choice to make. I found myself longing for this shop time and time again. Waui Maui is my personal favorite, I always get one scoop in a waffle cone.

The decor is just as sweet as the ice cream itself. With bright vivid pops of mint green and pink it's almost as if the walls of the shop are made with the sweet dessert itself!

With an opening time of 7am make sure to swing by and get something to wake yourself up in morning and then follow it up later in the evening with a second trip to satisfy that sweet tooth that's built up throughout the day. Trust me, I went in twice today and was met with a smiling face and friendly conversation both times! I was a little sheepish the second time and was even reassured that ice cream is a great treat no matter the time of day!

Thank you for always making our trips feel special, and will be sure to come back in the morning right before I leave!

This place is the best out of all the ice cream shops in Canon Beach!! They are VERY good with allergies. I was so impressed that I even wanted a picture with Suzy for the review, because with a medical background as a nurse, she knew how to take care of a severe peanut allergy. They have a special scoop, took some off the top of the tub just in case of cross contamination. Re-rinsed the scoop and then got my serving. It was so customer service oriented and by the way, the double scoop was not a double... it was more like a quadruple!! Make sure to find this spot. It is worth it for flavor and service. I will be back again tomorrow!!!

Confusing experience… was excited to try the ice cream based on all the great reviews. Store was fairly empty and I waited for the woman (Theresa) to make coffees for the people in front of me. Then two girls came into the line after me and she served them instead of me? Waited 10 minutes and left with a bad taste in my mouth (not from the ice cream since I didn’t get to try any!). The other girl at the counter who knew I was waiting said nothing either.

Update: thanks for the response/explanation, I was just so confused by the situation. I hope the next time our travels take us through Oregon we can stop by the shop and try...
