I visited the Michigan Avenue McDonald's in Canton, MI for dinner around 8:00pm. My experience was absolutely horrible. When I arrived, the drivethru line was long, so I went inside. No one was up front and no one came up front for about 12 minutes. I heard at least 3 or 4 people in the back talking vulgar using profanity and complaining about the drivethru customers. I had a coupon for buy a sandwich, get one free. Therefore, I had to order at the register with a cashier. While I waited for any employee to acknowledge me, I ordered fries via kiosk. A few minutes later a young lady came upfront, yelled "number 68", put the fries on the counter and went back to whatever she was doing. She never acknowledged me or the other customer who came in. I loudly said "excuse me". No one came. I said "excuse me"again, then the same young lady came and took my order and the other customer's order. I ordered 2 fish sandwiches. It took about 8 minutes for my order. The buns were hard and the sandwiches were cold. The cheese was even cold. I asked the young lady could I have hot food. She went back to have the fish freshly made. About 7 minutes later she came back with two cold fish sandwiches. I asked for a manager and she yelled for him to come. 5 minutes later she asked him how much longer because I was still waiting. When the manager came, I explained my ordeal. He apoligized and said he would take care of it. He came back with 2 hot fish sandwiches. The manager was polite and professional. However, there is a training issue. Read moreI go to this Mcdonalds because it is about a quarter mile from my house, but after today I will be driving the extra 3 miles to next one. I stopped here between work and school today about 3:30 PM. I ordered 5 Sandwiches, a large fry, 3 cookies and two large drinks. I received 3 sandwiches, a large stale fry, and two large drinks. The lady at the drive through read of my order while checking the bag right in front of me. So I get home with just enough time to eat and shower before going to school and I notice my items that are missing from the bag. So I call the store and talk to a manager who tells me my items will be replaced. This is when the problems started.
I get there to get my replacement order about 8 PM with receipt in hand, knowing I wont need it but figured it would make things easier but I was wrong. I tell the cashier about the issue and she immediately gets defensive and tells me she'll get a manager. So at this point I get my phone out to prove I had called but she didn't want to see that. Apparently I was a lying criminal because I didn't get the name of the manager I had spoken with. She tells me she will have to call the manager that was here at the time to make sure I am not lying. So I take a seat at the table for roughly 20 minutes before yet another clown has made an appearance. She tells me she will replace my order but next time I have to bring the food back next time(And not in a polite manner, I might add). I told her I didn't have time to come back right away and I told that to the manager on the phone. She also condescendingly asks if she was gonna replace the whole order because I was ONLY missing 4 items. ONLY??? That's more than half my order!

I left it how it was and immediately went and got an employee, we were sitting in the children’s play place area, he came over and verified, he knew instantly which employee the nail belonged to cause we walked back over the counter and I watched him directly go up to her and tell her what happened and he brought me a fresh fry, like I really wanted to eat there after that. All the employees thought it was funny, including the manager. No one apologized. The employee wouldn’t have even got the manager if I wouldn’t have asked to speak to her, she comes out, unapologetical, snide, and ask how she can help me. I asked her if I could just have a full refund so she gave me one. I was going to let it go but with how the employees thought it was funny I knew it was important to leave a review warning people and the owners how unsanitary this McDonalds is hopefully they make the correct changes so this never happens to anyone else. A huge safety concern having someone’s broken off acrylic nail sitting with my fries. Also the children’s play place was highly dirty , spilled dried up shake on the floor, super sticky , the tables were ALL DIRTY, we waited 20 minutes for our food, and the women’s restroom trash can that is for feminine products to be discarded in was over filling with bloody tampons and pads, my 5 year old almost touched one that was sitting up on the metal pole above the trash can because it was so full.
