Sunday August 17, 2025, At 3:15pm, I visited your drive-thru to purchase a coffee. Upon tasting the coffee, I found that it was unsatisfactory and tasted like water. I returned to the drive-thru line to request either a replacement or a refund.
Reaching the drive-thru window, I was met by an older Caucasian female employee. When I explained the issue and asked for a resolution, she demanded that I take the lid off the hot coffee. I refused, citing the safety risk of getting burned, and suggested that she could remove the lid herself. She responded by stating that she could not accept a product once it had left her possession.
After a protracted disagreement, she began the process of giving me a refund. I placed the coffee cup on the ledge of the drive-thru window. She then demanded that I take the cup off the ledge, stating that she would not give me the refund otherwise. After repeating this demand twice, she suddenly closed the window on me, refusing to complete the refund. I gave her one last option: give me a refund, or I'll call the police. She asked me if I was threatening her. I never knew asking for a refund or calling the law for help was a threat. At this point, I felt I had no other recourse and called the police. Upon their arrival, I received my refund, and the coffee was removed from the ledge. However, the situation escalated when the employee falsely claimed to the police that I had been to the location before and had engaged in this type of behavior. This statement is a complete fabrication. I have never visited this specific Tim Hortons location before this incident.
The employee's behaviorâfrom her refusal to handle a product for safety reasons to her escalating the situation and ultimately making a false statement to law enforcement was unprofessional and unacceptable. The accusation that I have previously engaged in such an act is a serious matter that has caused me significant distress.
I am requesting a formal investigation into this matter and the conduct of your employee. I would also like to formally protest the false statement made against me. I have never been to this location, and the accusation is baseless.
I look forward to your prompt response regarding this serious matter. I can be reached at the phone number and email address listed above. My Android device and OnStar both have features that can track my location. I'm willing to go the extra mile since I was falsely accused of this behavior when I've never been to this location. The police even said the employee was considering banning me from that location. Talk about Deformation...
Read moreI took my 6 and 9 yr old grandchildren to Tim Hortons at Ford and Haggerty drive-thru this morning, as I often do. The window employee was with out a doubt the rudest I have ever encountered! Right from the start. My total was $11.19 and I gave him $21.19 explaining to my 9 yr old that they often need singles so now they can give me a $10 back. Instead he gave me $9.96 in change and literally slammed the chocolate milk in my hand on top of my change, nearly knocking it to the ground. He continued to argue. He was holding a frozen lemonade and asked me if I still wanted it. Of course, I paid for it!!! He then said , well take it out of my hand then. After a few exchanges with him I asked for the manager. He had been hiding in the background. Not bothering to step in and replace the employee, who was beyond out of line. Several exchanges later I had indeed raised my voice as he stood up for his rude employee. He told me how frustrating it is....well they should be able to count and make change to qualify for a job there. As customers, we have tolerated unexpected closings, shortened hours, lack of items, drastic price increases, long waits, and rude service and ignorance. Yes there is frustration, and I am not going to stand for this kind of treatment. I am sick of service oriented facilities continuing to blame their shortcomings on Covid! The manager allowed another rude employee to laugh at me when I commented on the lack of business, I was the only car in line when I arrived. He was professional enough to yell fxxx off as I drove away with children in the car. I have never seen these employees in the past and I can't imagine they will be there long but I hope you all avoid this location, there are so many other places with...
Read moreI pulled up to the drive-thru window and was told by the woman working (who I think may have been management) that I could order whenever I was ready. I asked for a medium iced-capp and was very rudely interrupted with "Hold on a second," said with an attitude. When told I could go ahead, I repeated myself and asked for a medium iced-capp and was asked "What size?" again with an attitude. I repeated medium. I also ordered a bagel and a coffee. When I completed my order, the woman read it back as "So that's just the bagel and coffee," and I asked for a medium iced-capp for a third time and the woman added it to the order. I pulled up to the window, paid, and was handed the coffee and bagel by a different, nicer young lady and told to have a great day. I waited and when I was asked what was missing, I repeated for the fourth time this visit that I was missing a medium iced-capp. Without apologizing, the woman who took the order originally asked the nicer girl if she charged us for the drink who responded that she hadn't and they ended up having to swipe my card for a second time. They handed me the drink and my card and the woman who took the order came to the window and gave a very snide, sarcastic, and fake, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!" with a wave. The woman was so rude during this whole transaction that my daughter asked, "Wow, does that lady have a tree...
