My experience at Penny's Coffee Bar was nothing short of a disaster. From the moment I stepped in, it was clear this place lacked basic customer service and attention to detail.

First, they completely messed up our orders. I ordered a hot coffee but was served a cold one. When I pointed out the mistake, the staff showed attitude instead of rectifying it politely. They initially gave me a smaller size coffee and, when I pointed it out, a male staff member with a goatee beard showed attitude instead of providing the correct size.

The food orders were equally mishandled. Every single item was incorrect, and we had to repeatedly ask for the right items. To add insult to injury, the staff argued with us, insisting they had already served our food when they clearly hadn't. This level of incompetence and rudeness is unacceptable.

Overall, Penny's Coffee Bar failed spectacularly in providing even a basic level of service. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant coffee or dining experience. Save your time and money and...

This is a review that hurts a little. So let’s start with the food, Avacado toast is what I had and it was yummy. A nice healthy breakfast to get the day going. My coffee… a mocha and it too was good. So here is what makes me sad, the service was horrible! And I mean uncomfortable, horrible. The gentleman working must have been having a hard day, because the mere stress of a simple request to repeat what he said because I didn’t hear him made him rude and abrupt. Unfortunately, it didn’t just stop with me, when my friend who was meeting me for breakfast asked him to repeat the bread choices because she was still trying to decide he was super huffy to her. So much so, he really hurt her feelings. Considering there wasn’t much of a line and now day business should be a good thing, his behavior really confused me. There was another employee there too, but she was busy with task and didn’t even look up. It almost seemed like this treatment was normal. Penny's Coffee Bar is a medium sized store front with some low top and high top tables inside and a few tables outside. How can you not want to sit outside with the beautiful southwest Florida weather? This is a cute spot with some board games, some snacks, a free wifi and some merch. I think the only room for improvement might be to add more power at the tables, but it's a stretch and I'm truly nitpicking.

There is a cooler with juices and sodas, but they also have fresh bagels from Stuff-A-Bagel (I was here for the delivery) and ground/bean coffee for sale.
