Me and my family went to the restaurant part of this cafe. We decided to sit inside, the interior was very plain and run down, the tables were very crowded and close together. The atmosphere was very sad and empty, there were no other customers. They didn't even have a bathroom we could use, we were directed to go across the street to a public bathroom. We got the menu and it was misspelled and poorly organized. The lamb kebab, I ordered, was in the sandwich section which was misspelled as sandwitch. Every item was ridiculously overpriced, some even marking up to $85 for sub par food. There were almost no drink options, when my father ordered a diet pepsi, they gave him a regular pepsi. We ordered 4 entrees and 1 appetizer. The food was very greasy and bland in general. The dish I got, the lamb kebab was overly salty, I couldn't take more than 4 bites without feeling nauseous. The saffron rice tasted like fabric softener and the only good thing about the dish was the sauce it came with. Nobody dining with me was happy with their meal. Definitely not worth the...
Read morethis place is so sketch. even for jacked up tourism town prices it was very expensive, and any reviews about it they just reply with "please look at the menu before ordering". something here is so off the staff were nice but very distant. probably the worst boba i've ever had, it was just vaguely sweet instead of the flavor i ordered. crepes were adequate but not worth nearly 20 dollars a pop. served on paper plates with plastic utensils. there's so many other options in cape may you should check out instead of this place. also the setup of the cafe is very confusing? there is a place right next door that sells seafood and meats, but its likr connected to the cafe and is also called nutella cafe? very odd. also there were just weird stock images of fruit on the walls and blurry jpegs of girls in nutella. so so odd. whole place seems like a front or...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about Cafe Nutella. First, their food is delicious! My friend and I went twice on our short, 3-day vacation for both the savory and the sweet crepes - they did not disappoint. So delicious and a perfect beach treat.
Equal to the food, however, are the gentlemen who own the shop. They are the definition of kind - brought in an older man during a rain storm to let him sit inside to wait out the storm (providing him a warm cup of tea, too), brought me and my friend fresh mango juices simply as a nice gesture for two moms on vacation, and even opened their shop after closing 10 minutes prior so we could have one last crepe before our vacation ended. We need more of them in this world and I would support their shop a million times over if...
