I ordered two pork belly bao/bun and one salmon bun and they are about $7 each with tax and tips. The pork belly bao was glazed with lots of salt and sugar and the bread is sweet almost pancake-ish type of bread except this is white simple flower bread. So if you have diabetes, you have to watch out as it’s loaded with sugar and salt. The salmon bao is the one that I laughed so hard I almost fell off my chair. The bao itself it’s about size of your palm and I have a small hand. The salmon bao, listen to this, two pieces of salmon inside the bun were 1” by 1” you hear me right 1” x 1” size of a quarter. I took a picture so I can share it with you. because it is so tiny i can not even taste and tell you what was or if it’s indeed salmon or something else. The bao/bun is really about 2 stars at the best but I’m giving three simply because I haven’t try other things from this restaurant yet as you can see I’m really trying to like this place as I have been waiting for this place to open since the pandemic, but this trip was very disappointing.

The food here is amazing! We stopped in to try some sliders and rice bowel and was very impressed with the quality and taste of the food! They also had papaya salad which tasted amazing! The basil lemonade and thai ice tea are also must haves! They were super refreshing and not overly sweet as other places. We ordered the Lobster, pull pork, and pork belly bao and the curry rice bowl. They were all superb. The interior decor is super cute, and the outdoor seating area was perfect if you like to get some beach sun while eating. We highly recommended this place!

The food was amazing. My taste buds were thanking me for hours! I tasted the sesame-chili chicken slider, ginger-scallion lobster slider, sweet and sour duck slider, pineapple-chili aioli shrimp slider, and finally the soy-braised short ribs slider. Each slider has such a delicious, unique taste. My favorite was the sweet and sour duck. It tasted like candy, it had a nostalgic taste to it. The coconut rice pudding with mango and the 5-spice donuts were the best desserts I’ve had in a while. Their customer service was excellent. I can’t wait to come back!

We needed strictly gluten free due to a kid having celiacs disease. We called ahead to ensure they could make gluten free dishes and ensure care to prevent cross contact. While the dish itself was safe to eat, the biodegradable cutlery was not. The fork was made with wheat straw and hence could not be used. When I requested the staff if they could spare any silverware or even plastic spoon/fork, they made a face as though I was causing them inconvenience. They couldn’t find a single spoon or fork in their kitchen. Shocker! They didn’t even have the bare minimum courtesy to get a spoon from the eatery next to them. Instead I walked over to two other restaurants and requested a plastic spoon. If it wasn’t for their insensitive experience, I would’ve recommended the place...

What an amazing addition to the Cape May food scene! We stopped in for a snack and ending up going back to order more. We tried the chicken, pork belly and short rib and each one was delicious! Definitely some of the best bao we've ever had. Chicken had a great char flavor, pork belly was nice and crispy, and the short rib was juicy and well seasoned. The first sip of the basil limeade packed quite a punch as well!

We came back for dinner and we definitely were happy we did. My only minor issue was that the chunks on the pork belly bowl were so big, I needed two forks to break them up into more bite-sized pieces. Staff was extremely attentive...
