The food was decent. We had a lobster roll and lobster tacos with chipotle aïoli on the tacos. The lobster roll was done Connecticut style, which is served warm in butter, no mayo. We also have the lobster mac & cheese. The role was OK as the lobster was not hot. It was just lukewarm. My tacos barely had any lobster taste to them whatsoever. It seems like if you want to get the taste of lobster in your meal, you will have to add 50% more lobster. The mac & cheese was really good however I do wish there was more lobster in it without having to pay to have 50% more lobster. All in all these three items came to $70 after tax. I honestly do think Quincy lobster rolls are better and their prices are a little lower. In May, Quincy’s has 2 locations: right across from LaLa Lobster (original spot for many years) and also Washington St Mall. Again, I am not saying this place is not good however save yourself a couple dollars go across the street to Quincy and I think you’ll enjoy the meal of a...
Read moreI’ve sampled lobster 🦞 rolls from Bay Harbor Maine, Rockland Maine, Rockport Maine, Nantucket, and Boston this summer and the La La Lobster🦞 roll was a standout. For one, all high-quality pieces, the temperature was perfectly luke warm, the meat was incredibly juicy, a drizzle of butter where you can taste that its there but by no means overwhelming, no additional flavoring added that takes away from the taste of the fresh meat 🥩 and served on a small warm roll. They offer an extra 2 ounces of meat for $7 making it 6 ounces of meat sitting on a small warm roll served with a sour pickle and bag of chips. The four star review on service and atmosphere represents a great experience as I reserve the 5 star review for the unique and outstanding experience. I hope you find this...
Read moreI ordered the Lu Lu Lobster bowl. Took about 20 minutes to prepare. The lobster was fresh and included both tail and claw meat but I was disappointed at the two partial slices of avocado that were striped brown and black. Came with generous portion of rice, chedder, and corn. Oddly the tomato cubes didn't appear to be Jersey tomatoes but the pinkish imported gassed variety. Overall the dish was OK but could be enhanced in so many ways... some seasoning, butter, dressing, a wedge of lemon, or even a dab of hot sauce. I heard a fellow diner requesting hot sauce to no avail. The environment is beach casual with a few metal chairs and tables outside. The staff is courteous and polite and offers 50% additional lobster meat for a...
