Very popular morning breakfast spot attached to the Macomber hotel and across from the Cape May Convention Center. This small bagel shop offers a wide variety of types of bagels, spreads (cream cheeses, lox, butter) coffee, and drink items for one to choose from. They are a small knit group where you can tell the customers matter and they do their best to serve everyone to the best of their ability. Their fresh squeezed orange juice (you can watch them do it!) is so fresh and delicious it is a must try and their breakfast sandwiches on a bagel are a spot on and filling way to start your morning out right. Only downside is that it is small, so things can tend to get crowded pretty quickly, but that doesn't hurt the overall experience. Definitely check this place out for a great breakfast experience...
Read moreWe are heading home today and needed to get on the road but we wanted to grab coffee and a bagel before we headed out. I arrived at bagel time at 6:57 AM and their workers were just showing up to work. Online it says the cafe opens at 7:00. I knocked on the door and asked what their hours are and the man said “7:00 give or take”. We finally went in to order and they were not prepared. They had no milk or cream for coffee and what they did have had been sitting out all night, thus it was old milk and cream. They were also unapologetic about making people wait outside when their advertisements and hours say 7:00. I will not go back to bagel time! Very...
Read moreMy friends and I (4 of us) came here on Saturday morning. Would definitely recommend getting here early, as we arrived around 09:30/10 and it was already super busy and a long wait.
We ordered an avocado toast, a bagel and two nova bowls (which consisted of an egg scramble with lox and spring onion, and a huge base of potatoes). The Nova bowl portions were huge, and honestly the potato made it rather unappetising. Just too heavy.
Strangely, one of the bowls came out within 5 mins and I was still waiting for mine 30 mins later. Didn’t feel hot.
Would return but would likely get the avocado toast or a bagel, especially if at a busy time....
