I come here EVERYDAY! The reason is the community and especially the amazing people behind the counter including but not limited to the manager, kitchen etc. Here you get acknowledged , loved and supported. Customized coffee is a bonus. This is NOT a ROBOT operated shop!!! Baristas will acknowledged your presence and make a small talk with everyone EQUALLY, not just the regulars. If you do not have time and in a rush i suggest you got elsewhere. Here we take our time , we are patient and we love the long lines , we practice COMPASSION . Trust me i almost walk out the first time, i'm glad I DIDN"T! I was so accustomed to the quantity vs quality. I look forward to my community and how to practice patience every day. Love you guys, thank you for being my best teacher that everyone matter! Glad i stack around on the long line while you were talking to the persons ahead...

I like to order a shot of hot water with my Açaí bowl to soften the sorbet style scoops and fluff up the chia seeds.
(Ask for an extra scoop of granola. They started skimping at some point)
Also the folks behind the counter will pretty much make any coffee drink you can imagine as long as they have the ingredients for it.
Go for study, work, self-dates and fun times with new or old...
Read moreCame to Lofty coffee to try out another local coffee shop. The atmosphere was great, I think if you want a place to people watch this is your place. I ordered a drip coffee and a matcha donut. I typically prefer light roast, Ethiopia or Kenya. I asked the cashier what the flavor profile was of their drip coffee, she told me everyone likes it and that it was on the medium roast side. She showed me the bag they use, looked like a columbian or mexico style coffee and it was. I was okay, but thats given my preferences as stated. I also ordered a matcha donut, it looked beautiful but the texture was not it. I want to say it was a mochi donut but it wasnt mochi donut texture. All in all I recommend this place for atmosphere and in terms of coffee and pastries I would go to Steady State...
