Food was good, what we got, but the service was atrocious. Waitress didn't take everyones order (she missed taking 2 peoples order), we waited for an hour and a half with 4 hungry children. She brought 5 orders out, the others all sat and waited for another 45 minutes for food. Food delivered was cold. Never got refills on drinks. Manager ran around wiping tables off and not helping the waitress who obviously had no idea what she was doing. I finally got my side order which was 20 minutes after my burger arrived, I had to eat it with a knife because I had no fork even after having asked for one. Repeatly asked where the missing meals were for the others members at our table. Finally manager stated "you can pay for your meal or not pay its up to you". The waitress came back and said "oh I doubt she said you didn't have to pay". Wow, seriously? 2 members of our party never even got food, but as we were leaving, she handed them their meals which was the wrong order again. 5 out of the 12 of us did not get the correct food. It was by far the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Several customers had sat down after us, ordered, ate, and left...one right after another. Members of our party have had that waitress before and had the same poor experience with her . I talked to the manager before we left and she said she has had complaints about this waitress before. Really? Why is she still working at this establishment is beyond me. I think the manager was just as much at fault as the waitress. She basically did nothing to correct the situation. To bad too because what we did get to eat was really good. But I can honestly say, I've never been to a restaurant where the service was so bad. I can honestly say it's the WORST...

Read moreI went to Bub's for lunch with a couple of friends on Saturday morning, and the experience was not good. The staff were friendly, polite, and understanding, and were doing everything they could to keep up with what was a busy Saturday morning in an obviously understaffed location. I don't know if people didn't show up to their shift or if not enough people were scheduled, but it took us a very long time to get our drinks (and when we did it was clearly from the previous day and made me quite nauseated), and even longer to get our food.
I ordered a hotdog with chili on, and when it finally arrived, the hotdog and chili were lukewarm, and the hotdog was very rubbery.
In the end, we decided that the food and service was nowhere near worth what the price would have been, so we talked to a manager, explained to her the situation, left a tip for the poor waiter, and left without paying.
The staff were very kind and were doing everything they could. This is obviously a problem with proper staffing and compensating that staff. I see that the average pay employees of Bub's receive is not even $15 per hour. In times like these this is pennies. Nobody can survive on less than $20/hr at an absolute minimum.
Owner needs to get with the times. Staffing issues would not occur if employees were happy with their compensation for the extremely difficult and taxing work they're doing on a...
