I don't really go to Panda Express because I've always associated them with low quality food but was pleasantly surprised yesterday and will definitely be going back now more often.
I got the 2 entree meal and decided on the teriyaki chicken and the Shanghai Angus steak. I got both the fried rice and the low mein and a few veggie egg rolls. I spent maybe $10.50 total which I felt was fair.
The fried rice and low mein were a very bland for my taste and needed more soy sauce than usual but were edible and I'd probably get them both again (not many other options). The egg rolls were small but a pretty good deal --2 for like $1.50 or so? I dipped them in duck sauce but could have eaten them plain.
The real winner was the entrees-- they were both fresh, tender, and seasoned well. They leave the teriyaki chicken in filets until it is ordered and provide extra sauce when you ask at no additional charge. I asked for extra sauce although it was again, not entirely necessary. The other entree I chose was the Shanghai Angus steak. It has chunks of steak with veggies (mostly mushrooms which I usually hate but they really weren't too bad). The label said it was a premium item and therefore was $1.25ish more. The employee also reminded me which was nice so there wasn't any surprises while checking out. I think it is a fair price and I would order it again without hesitation.
The place has cafeteria style ordering and the customer service is fine, no issues there. Seating was plentiful and there were no issues parking. It looked pretty clean both inside and out.
Overall, I'm giving them 4 out of 5 stars because I was disappointed in the rice and low mein and that they didn't have what came in for --...
Read moreemily is absolutely awful!!! let me be clear: the food was normal. literally just your normal panda express, the end. however, the way emily treats her coworkers is AWFUL. she instructed one of her coworkers to go “take care of that” and pointed towards a bowl. prior to this, she loudly stated there was a fly in that bowl. the other lady goes to pick up the bowl, and emily yells (to the point it hurt my ears) “ NONONONO.” like???? seriously, what’s the need for yelling? but it gets worse. emily tells the other lady “there was a fly in there.” and the lady says okay, and proceeds to take my order. should’ve ended there. however, while the lady is taking my order, emily says to her, (in a very conceited and belittling way, as if she were speaking to a child) “yeahhhhh, there was a fly in there!!! do you know what flies are? they’re little bugs! they’re pretty gross!” and the lady says “i know..” in such a defeated way.
emily was speaking as if she were speaking to a 3 year old, very drawn out and animated words. acting as if she were too stupid to understand. it’s clear that the lady’s first language is not english, because she has an accent, but she was perfectly capable of communicating with me and there is no justification for emily speaking to her like that. i would love to get in touch with there manager. what an awful environment to eat in,, let alone WORK in. emily, humble yourself. you’re...
Read moreWalked in to no greeting from anyone, just irritated looks. As someone who works in food industry management at one of the busiest stores in our area, I never fail to greet a guest with a smile and a hello, nor does my team. As soon as I walked to the counter the lady screamed something at me after I ordered what I wanted. I didn’t understand what she had said so I asked politely for her to repeat herself. This was met with an eye roll and a sigh. She must’ve assumed I was eating there and just handed me my food on a flimsy paper plate. I had no tray as I was wanting to leave with my food. She also walked away from me before I had finished my order. The lady at the check out was no more pleasant. She snarkily asked why I had no tray as she waved a fortune cookie in my face. She gave me this irritated look the whole time and seemed mad I asked for a water cup, she even told me to “make sure you only put water in it.” I sat down because I was now forced to do so, I got the pleasant experience to listen to the cashier argue with a customer and continue to belittle him instead of helping him with his issue. Food was ok at best and portion was small compared to any other Panda Express I’ve been to. I will make the longer drive to...
