My fiancé ordered from Jimmy John's today and it was a horrible customer service experience. Firstly, the guy taking her order kept saying his system was shutting down and it took close to 10 minutes to even place the order. We ordered 3 combos which include a 22 ounce drink, which is posted on the flyer and the website. The guy kept asking her what size and she kept saying 22 ounce that comes with the combo. Needless to say, he still charged us for a large. It took over 30 minutes to get our order and the chips were not even in the box. So we called the store. The manager said she put the chips in the box herself, which was a lie because there was not even room to put the chips in the box. After going back and forth with Rebecca and Jennifer about the order, Rebecca offered us a $10 credit. So we said thank you and my fiancé stated that we still wanted the chips because we paid for our order and they were part of the order. Jennifer jumps on the phone and says that they can not give us the $10 credit and OUR chips that were paid for. She said it was either one or the other which makes no sense, since the order was missing chips, the drink was the wrong size, we were charged for large size we never asked for, the order was over 30 minutes late, the manager doesn't want to rectify the situation, poor customer service, and even hearing the order taker in the background saying he could barely hear her because she was mumbling the entire phone call, which was another lie. Oh, and my sandwich was so flat like someone laid something on top of it and her sandwich seems like there was no thought put into it. Never again will we buy from this location 1 minute from our home. We rather go outside of the area. Lastly, Jennifer removed the $10 credit from our account and told my fiancé to "contact corporate then", since we asked for the corporate number. Read moreYou guys used my debit info to place an Uber eats order which I did not consent to. Rough breakdown: I paid for my meal in the Jimmy John’s app yesterday. I noticed the order was taking longer than expected but shrugged it off until I received a call after about 45 minutes from someone who had a hard time w/ English which wasn’t their fault, but they mentioned Uber eats over and over. I wrote it off as maybe the store not having anyone to deliver my order so they had to outsource.
Then I woke up this morning to check my bank account and found an unrecognized and unauthorized pending charge from Uber eats. I checked my Uber eats account and found no such order to correlate w/ the pending charge. So it had to have been made from Jimmy John’s. I tried reaching out directly to the customer service line for Jimmy John’s and went straight to VM. Then I tried UBER eats customer support, but I don’t have an actual order in my account to report because I did not make the charge. I don’t think I’ve ever ordered from Jimmy John’s thru Uber eats. Just kept hitting dead ends.
I’m just having a difficult time understanding why I was charged through both the app and Uber eats? I understand being understaffed and I understand how crazy the hospitality industry can get, but like c’mon. This is a major inconvenience.
Either way I cancelled my debit card because no one has answered any of my questions and I am not taking any chances. Next time just call the customer and ask them if they can pick it up or just cancel the order altogether. Don’t take someone’s private info and make unauthorized transactions. Read moreCustomer service at this location is terrible! Starting from the order taker all the way to receiving the order “not so fast” and the terrible managers they have running this store! Charged me for items I didn’t want and then forgot to include items I did order, but manager insisted she personally put them in the box. The box had zero room to fit anything else! Rebecca tried to be courteous and offered me credit and then some other supposed manager name Jennifer came on the phone was rude and said it’s one or the other!! WHAT? I ordered 3 combos, which comes with chips and a 22 oz drink, order taker kept asking what kind of chips, I repeated it back to him 4 times and STILL got it wrong! Then manager forgets to take me off mute or hold and I can hear them complaining about my order and blaming me for “mumbling”. So effing rude!! If he didn’t hear me or understand what I was saying, he should’ve asked me to repeat myself like he had me on hold to fix his computer! I normally love JJ but this location is the most disappointing store EVER! I will NEVER order from this location ever again!
