Akhi Hunky bar & Hooka — Restaurant in Carolina

For anyone planning on going there...they do NOT sell food anymore. We were a bit thrown off by the pictures in the reviews but I guess they are from the past when they used to serve food.

I only gave it two stars due to the brief service we received before leaving. The place still looked closed from the outside so we asked the only person sitting outside of the door if they were open and he, barely acknowledging us said yes. Thinking he was security we let that slide and walked in. After walking all the way to the back and then to the front of a completely empty established the man eventually came from outside to behind the bar casually to which we realized he was actually the ONLY person who was supposed to be inside!

Horrible experience. For some reason they won’t serve you and you have to chase the waitresses down to be served. My party ordered food before 2:00 AM and by the time 2:00 AM rolled by we were told the kitchen was closed and could not eat. Don’t expect to be served quickly, it takes at least 15-20 minutes to get a drink. By far the worst service in PR. They don’t serve women so make sure you have a man in your party. It’s in the tourist area so one would expect to get excellent service, but...

You won’t get served here. The bartender with the blond curly afro gave us a menu and that’s all never came back to take an order. But she was certain to take orders and entertain friends. Another person on the wait staff told us it wasn’t his turn and did not feel the need to get us help. We decided to move to an open table outside and then our waiter told us that table was taken.
