Burger King — Restaurant in Carolina

Racist workers who think they’re above everyone. Went in here with my boyfriend’s family and were treated horribly. We’re mainly English speaking , so we got a family member to translate so they could understand our orders , while we were ordering the lady that’s shown above with purple hair was throwing her arms around with attitude , them laughing at us with her coworkers calling us white people ( we aren’t white ) . Saying that my family members Spanish was horrible ( she was Mexican ofc she sounded different to Puerto Rican Spanish ). Talking about us the whole time , I’m Puerto Rican myself , I may not speak fluently but I understand EVERYTHING, and they didn’t know we could understand . They overcharged my mother in law and purposely acted like they didn’t know what she was talking about. They acted shocked when we reacted back , we don’t play that . But point being . As a Puerto Rican I will not be returning back to PR, any tourist or visitors don’t visit here .. even if you’re even Puerto Rican . They don’t deserve any buisness or sympathy.. at least at this establishment....

While placing an order at the counter, I made a slight change (requesting a small versus a medium combo). That resulted in the person at the counter and the cook (all employees working at the restaurant) leaving their positions and the restaurant for at least 5 to 10 minutes. When they returned, nothing changed with regards to how much they wanted to charge me. I sincerely thought I had entered the Twilight Zone! When I asked why there was no change in price, I was told the price difference on the register versus the menu was due to tax which was an absolute lie. At that point, I left and went to Subway. Notably, the 5 other guests in line behind me also left the restaurant without ordering. While it has been at least 20 years since my last visit to this chain, I suspect I’ll never return, but I’ll share this story whenever someone mentions Burger King to me.Have it your way is a slogan that’s an...

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from both what looked like a new hire as well as a manager. Took really long to receive our food and I had to repeat multiple times in both English and spanish that the meal I ordered was medium sized and not small, when I noticed the new hire preparing a small drink and small fry. When the manager stepped in I told her that I had ordered a medium sized meal so they switch my drink to a medium cup. She then looked at the receipt and said the order is small. I explained that that was not what I ordered and was an error on their part, so I should be given the size I ordered. Especailly since I have now been waiting about 15mins. With alot of attitude told me I needed to pay more if I wanted medium. I told her I wasnt payig more for what was their mistake. She proceeded to switch my drink back to a small cup.
