Isla Verde Beach — Attraction in Puerto Rico

This was the best beach in the San Juan area in my opinion!! The waters are calm and clean, there are NO rocks or seaweed in the water and the walk from the Uber drop off to the water line is close. There are rentable chairs and umbrellas (we paid $30 for 3 chairs and 1 umbrella, available daily until about 4:30 pm). There are local vendors selling alcoholic drinking, jewelry and messages - all were kind and polite when you declined anything. There are also restaurants and a farmacia (think CVS / Walgreens) in walking distance. Be sure to apply your sunscreen every hour as directed because the sun is STRONGGGG. 5/5 rating

First time visiting Puerto Rico for the record. I fell in love with this beach! I had a room within walking distance with a ocean view already. I never had been to a island before , boy did I pick a good one. It should be signs up that says “stress free zone” you could feel the power of the ocean just sitting there. The color of the water was perfect. No trash. No plastic. No time limit , it never closed. Relaxed atmosphere if you wanna be an adult & have a few brews & listen to some music. Good vibes. I see a lot of people complaining about getting kicked out after 5 PM by the cops but that did not happen to me. I stayed there until 7 PM. I was able to see the sunset and i parked on the side of the road with no issues even though that there was nowhere to pay, the car did not get told towed. The beach was very clean, and empty, the water was beautiful it is by far one of the best beaches I’ve ever been to. The day was definitely a little bit cloudy, but I was still able to enjoy everything that the beach has to offer. It is very close to Miramar, and Condado about 12...
