After all of the negative reviews I read I expected the same service/food quality and received none of it!! It was spot on perfect. We went in at 8pm and they were very busy due to a canceled flight. We were seated with in 3 minutes, drinks with in 5 and our waiter was there to take our order in under 10 min. We weren't ready so we let him know when we were ready. There were only four ppl working front of house handling approximately 30 customers in two dining rooms plus the bar. Once our order was in, it was at our table in under 30 minutes. I ordered the 10oz flank steak and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. My wife wanted a pizza and it was hot and steaming delicious!! In an hour and a half I was, seated, had drinks, ordered, received a steak dinner, enjoyed After dinner conversation, paid and left. That's the exact amount of time I would spend in a high end steak house paying 4x's what I paid for a great steak in an airport!! You're in an airport people. Not Ruth Chris steak house! Great...

Wow. First of all, this review is for room service only (no idea what the actual restaurant environment is like).

There was a sign in the airport hotel that says they reinvented their menu/food so we decided to give it a shot despite the low rating. This food… no joke… was the best we had during our week long trip in Puerto Rico - better than the kiosks at Luquillo (which ironically was close to the worst imo).

We ordered the pork chop, chicken with mofongo and PR rice, and the shrimp penne. The only weak part of this order was the sad side of chicken. Other than that, the pork chop, mofongo, and rice were delicious!! Penne was standard but still good. It was really pricey though… ~100 before tip for 3 entrees but I guess that’s to be expected for room service and at an airport.

Overall, if we end up in PR again, we’d stay at the airport hotel for an early flight and absolutely eat here again. Great job reinventing your business!!

(Sorry for terrible photos!...

Our flight was delayed till the next morning so we got a room at the airport hotel. We were tired and didn't want to get a taxi or Uber to leave, so we thought we'd try Campo Verde at the hotel. Reviews are very mixed, so we didn't have high hopes. We were pleasantly surprised. We sat at the bar, a sweet young waitress (wish I had her name) toook our order right away. I had a hard time deciding what to order, she was very patient and helpful. I ordered the Shrimp Mofongo Relleno w/ red sauce. It was amazing. My husband ordered a pepporoni pizza. Other than it being on the very small side, he said it was delicious. Our drinks were also really, really good. Obviously looks hit and miss by the reviews, but we were very pleased with the meal and the service. Prices were on the high side, but we're on an island at an airport hotel, so really not that surprising. Overall, we would definitely go...

So, they haven’t been reviewed much but i’m here to say if you land in San Juan airport and have time between your next connection this was literally the best option for food you’ll find hands down amongst fast foods and an empanada spot. I landed at the airport starving and needed the proper sustenance and gladly found it. I had the Bistec encebollado and took it to go, priced perfectly for the portion and situation $10-12 dollars. The location in itself is nothing to rave about in relation to decor, but I’m rating it as such because this was the best food in all of the terminals, my group ordered from a chicken spot and the other from the empanada spot and both regretted having not joined me. Give them a try if hungry, obviously if you have even more time than I had, take a cab and get food locally to truly get the Puerto Rican feel and vibes.

After reading all the negative reviews for this place, I went in with low expectations, expecting bland, overpriced food and mediocre service, but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was very good; we tried the puertorican rice, sweet plátanos, a caballo burger, pork, steak tostones sliders, chicken quesadillas, and macaroni salad. The quesadillas were meh and the steak was a little chewy, but everything else was delicious! Still overpriced, compared to outside restaurants, but not bad for airport food. Our server was also very nice and we didn’t have to wait long to be seated, nor did we have to wait long for our food to come out. 8pm seemed to be a good time to go. As for the atmosphere, it was okay; a little too dark inside, but we got to be seated next to a painting of Leonardo Dicaprio which was delightful. Overall, not bad!
