Terrible experience. Ordered the criole camaron mofongo. It was hard as rock. We had to slice it with a serrated knife and it was just so hard and starchy that we just ate the shrimp instead. Imagine 2 people sharing a mofongo and not even half of it was consumed. The shrimp on it was pretty ok until my husband had food poisoning that night from the shrimp which ruined the rest of our trip because our plan was to eat our way through san juan before we leave. Told the hotel's front desk about the issue and they said the food is not good. Well, if it's not good, why have it in the hotel for your guests? Funny thing is when the waiter asked us how our food was that night, before we billed out, we didn't give a response and he basically said, "I know, our food is just ok". Wow, even the staff said so. We also ordered the seafood paella and although the rice was good, it just came with 2 shrimp pieces, 1 calamari slice, 1 mussel, 1 empty clam shell and a small cube of fish. I think they also forgot to add dressing to the salad. *Picture to increase likelihood of review being viewed*

This restaurant doesn't have the best ratings, but we were intrigued by the menu and so we finally decided to go here for dinner. The first impression is always made by the usher and here it would be nice to have someone more empathetic and nice than this lady was. Luckily, the waitress Alison came to the table, and thanks to her we stayed. Alison was very nice, she explained everything to us and took very good care of us. We ordered fish tacos and Queen snapper for dinner. And honestly, all the food was delicious! 👌💯 The fish tacos were much better than the previous night at the restaurant next door (and they were also very good there). So in the end I give a full 5 stars because the food and our service Alison was perfect. Just improve the usher because the first impression makes a lot. And such an attitude can put off guests.

La Dormida del Mid Isla Verde was a disappointing experience. The waiter strolled along and told me that the Paella had no seafood unless you pay 32 dollars in total for 3 extra shrimps. Okay... and then he said he can't make the tostones crispy. When it arrived I think they killed an entire family of onions and put it on my plate cause there was more onions than rice on there. And the tostones might as well have been called cut plantains cause it had the consistency of soggy paper. Other than that, the balls of cheese were cute and I liked the creme brulee but unfortunately the oreo cheesecake felt like all the flavors were fighting eachother. The waiter also lied saying there was a fish available but there wasn't. The only thing you'll find in this cueva are lies, false hopes, and onions.

On 04/01/2024 my family and I went in to have dinner in which I so much regret the service , waiter was in such a rush When our order finally was given at table , we ordered different appetizers, as well dinner however when appetizers arrived old my son as he went to put one of their sauces the top had. It been well put and all the sauce was all over the table , his phone and on floor ,after like 5 minutes waiter came over first thing he said was oh this is not my fault . No apology at all , he just stood infront of us like for us to clean up , their I called manager ,and that was another non educated employee, no Apology whatsoever all she said as well was that was not his fault! Really So who’s at fault , I believe it is the responsibility of the restaurant to make sure everything in the restaurant is under control, I’m sure this can be verified by the cámaras they have it’s a shame this restaurant is inside this great hotel . Horrible service from waiters to manager all they were doing was gossiping behind the counters. And honestly to say they...

This has honestly been the worst dining experience I have had in years. We were sat down and ordered a 20oz pitcher of sangria. After 20 mins of our waiter, Rafael, passing us by we finally received our pitcher but did not ask if we were ready to order. The kicker: they gave us the 40oz without our knowledge (the other kicker the bartender later admits it’s actual 32oz but we are still charged 40oz). After another 20 mins of still not being asked to take our order my wife had to ask another person. Our dishes were dropped off eventually with no waiter still in sight. My wife finished her meal before our waiter finally arrives, well over a hour, for the first time since we ordered our dinks to ask if everything was alright. Now I could finally tell him that my dish didn’t even include everything that was part of the meal I ordered. Nothing was done to rectify the non existent service or the incomplete meal, not even a sorry. This experience was so bad that I am actually taking the time to let others know that you can get better food and service in any...
