City Bus Burritos and Tacos — Restaurant in Carrboro

Y’all ain’t even know how much money I’ve spent on the #5 breakfast burrito 🌯 at City Bus 🚎 (currently known as Taco King USA 🚌, until he gets his other bus fixed up). The location is in the parking lot right in front of Carolina Detail place. Mac or Emilio, the owner of the bus handles the monetary transactions while his wife does the cooking. He sells a variety of tacos, burritos, tortas, drinks, etc.

I cannot talk enough about the #5 breakfast burrito which contains chorizo (Mexican sausage), bacon, eggs 🍳, rice 🍚, and beans. Get that green sauce too. Ughh. 🤤🤤

PS. He is consistently closed on Mondays, but is typically there everyday from 8PM-2AM (even though his hours state otherwise). He is sometimes closed on certain days when he has catering events, although there is no social media coverage when he’s not gonna be there 😡. I’m still addicted to his...

I wouldn't recommend for a vegetarian meal. If you're not vegetarian I'm sure it's great! They do have a vegetarian option, however you have to get mushrooms with it - I hate mushrooms. So I got a burrita with no meat and with lettuce (it doesn't come with lettuce or tomato...?). I think there are jalopenos in the pico de gallo. I don't have much of a spice tolerance so I just about died. After picking the jalopenos out, it was pretty good but still on...

Update: I went back that same night for dinner and then the next day for lunch again. Got the #4 breakfast burrito the second time I went (the bacon one). Wasn’t as good as I expected it to be, probably should’ve gone with the #5 (the chorizo one). Tacos haven’t done me wrong yet. Will give breakfast burrito another...
