-Update- When did you guys apologize? Are you talking about the sarcastic "Thanks for letting me know!" by the woman owner? And what threats? To the person who wrote this were you even on the phone with me? This is my first bad review to anyone EVER. So stop making lies. And definitely not going back so don't worry. Congrats for passing health inspector's audit! (Again it's the management issue not the food.) -your Karen
I ordered togo last night and today opened the soup and as I was eating I found the radish below. It honestly look like someone bit off to me so I felt disgusted. I called the owner to let them know this “bitten off” shape and to hear about their current kimchi making/pkging process and one “sorry” for experiencing this. BUT no. The man owner told me that there are cameras and that there is no way that it’s bitten off. That’s great that he is so confident. So I offered to send him the photo just so that other clients don’t go through what I went through. He didn’t take it.
Suddenly the woman owner picked up and started SCREAMING. Yelling and not even listening to what I had to say. Didn’t want my photo just yelled that what’s the point of calling. I honestly never experienced a restaurant owner yelling at a client so my hands are still shaking. Then she sarcastically said what else do you want then thanks a lot for calling then hung up.
Really??? How rude! I’m never going there again. Not bc of the food but for their terrible customer service. I really hope that their process is as clean...
Read moreOnly reason I am giving a one star is because there is no zero star. I normally do not go over to Carrollton that often, so when I do get a chance to go I take advantage of food services. If the food is good, I will order at least 3 other dishes to go and have it next few days. So to the point, when there today,, food is so so, but what I really want to say is HOW BAD SERVICE WAS/IS. I had some left over food so I wanted to take home, asked for the doggie bag and also added some extra kimichi to go. Few minutes later the freakish Korean dude YELLS ACROSS the floor and says that I cannot take the kimichi home, he said that food is onoly for dine-in only. No signs that says that, I also said, I mixed it with the left food, so it would be no good to put it back. He said I have to throw it out. When other countries are starving of food, this bright Korean dude tells me to throw it out. I guess when the Good Lord was passing out the smarts, HE missed the line. WOW, you know if there was the older generation running the front, I would not be hearing that type of words. These inconsiderate generations have no respect and clues. Certainly excellent customer service will never, ever be there. WILL NOT BE RETURNING. SAVE YOUR MONEY, GO...
Read moreCame here because I’ve been wanting to try something new and I’m so glad that we made this spontaneous decision. With the cold weather around the corner I was craving some tofu soup. We ordered sundubu jjigae and sullungtang. There was plenty of different types of entrees to choose from so you’ll definitely find something here that will match what you’re craving!
The sullungtang came with the banchan but the sundubu did not. But the portions were large, it did not matter. The sundubu had a lot of tofu which I enjoyed, it was not too spicy, perhaps needed a little bit more salt (which they have on the tables). The sullungtang had a good amount of meat, but we felt that the taste was lacking again, but we used the salt provided to adjust.
The vibe of the restaurant is more of a cafeteria style. You enter, go up to the cashier, order your food, then they will give you a pager and you find your own seat. It is self serve with utensils and water.
Felt that this was good bang for your buck and will come back especially when I want something...
