ZZIZIM Korean Kitchen — Restaurant in Carrollton

Absolutely amazing food and service. We walked in and were immediately greeted with a smile. I love the ambiance, the music they play is awesome. The Food was so delicious! We got the sweet potato and cheese pancake, Bulgolgi, LA galbi, and shrimp fried rice. Everything was so freaking good and well seasoned. The ribs were definitely the best I’ve ever had, they came out freshly cooked up and sizzling. We will absolutely be visiting again very soon :)

*Update: A year later and still going here and it’s so consistently amazing. Tonight I had an awful experience with a different restaurant we had tried for the first time. The service was so bad we had to walk out of the restaurant without eating. So we came to Zzizim and were greeted with happiness and warm smiles. Food is so good and service is 5 star. They really made my night so much better and I’m so happy we have made Zzizim a frequent dinner spot. We always get the same thing, Galbi ribs, marinated pork, shrimp fried rice and sweet potato and cheese pancake. Esther is truly a GODSEND! I've visited this place 3 times. First time was great, second time was ehh, but the third time was out of this world - I believe it's because of meeting Esther for the first time! Esther provided the greatest service. She was surprised that my friend and I could speak Korean, which really had us bond. The food was delicious - I recommend the 군만두, 소고기국밥, and 만두국. Esther also provided another serving of 만두국 on the house to express her thanks for us learning her language and supporting us on our language journey. (: She also heard my voice, I lost my voice so I was unable to communicate in Korean as much as I would have wanted to, and she gave me hot green tea with lime on the house. She not only cared about us as customers, but she cared about us as human beings. My friends and I plan to come back once a month to eat the delicious food and see Esther again. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I went there last night with my partner I ordered the kimchi stew (김치찌개) and my partner got the dumpling rice cake soup (떡만두국) both tasted amazing and they gave us a lot of side dishes. They give out chopsticks but you can ask for a fork if needed. They also asked if I'm okay with eating pork and were very attentive. They also do to go if you cannot finish all your food. They also speak both Korean and English. The place seemed wheelchair accessible and kid friendly. Also they cleaned the tables up so quickly and nicely and asked us if we wanted chocolate or a lollipop before we left. I also complimented our waitress on her makeup and she complimented my eyelashes and the glitter on them which surprised me because it showed how much they truly pay attention to their customers.
