Tiger Sugar is and will be the best boba I’ve ever tasted. The location has covid measures in place with a glass shield and intercom to order. Dots placed 6 feet apart for when you are waiting for your order. However they had close to 9 people all huddled in the tiny drink prep area with multiple of the girls just standing around and laughing. Completely understand wanting to enjoy yourself but it seems weird to have so many employees in such a small area considering. The store is actually quite small and does not give much room to breathe if it gets too busy while waiting for you order. Worth it though for the boba right? Well sometimes unfortunately on my most recent trip to this location with my wife. Her drink had a hair sealed into the cup. She had drank an okay amount before realizing that it wasn’t just her hair attached to the outside of the cup. Considering the nine workers all huddled in such a small prep area it was bound to happen but it was extremely disappointing considering the usual quality of the drinks. Unfortunately will not be coming back to this location as we were really looking forward to some good boba and having a hair in our drink was extremely disgusting and a huge letdown.

Read moreOverrated. I waited in line for 30 minutes and was disappointed. The tea had a very grainy texture. I don't know if it was because they were busy and in a hurry when they made my order, but it was not properly mixed.
Was not given any instructions to shake it up, but even after I did, I still could not get that grainy texture to go away and the flavors did not mix properly so it was bland until I got to a sugary mess halfway through. I was so put off by the texture I ended up throwing it away.
This tea is not worth $6 when they are not using actual milk and tea but powdered mixes. Had it been half the price or half the ice I would've felt less ripped off.
Save yourself the time of waiting and money and go to one of the many other cafes in the area. They use better quality ingredients, have more variety of flavors, and it's less of a wait. This is just another one of those overrated fad drinks that everyone is going crazy about because they saw someone blogging/streaming about it. As someone who loves milk teas, this was very disappointing. Also, staff was not near as friendly as many of the other places I visited in that area that day. They just felt like they were in a rush to get us...
Read moreI was waiting for this to pop up in Texas as this white hot boba spot was only available in LA and NYC. The reviews were glowing with mentions of the best boba ever made, so you can imagine all the hype I was working with when I finally got to try their signature drink.
Though the drink was really good and unique, there was lack of tea flavor that I normally enjoy from a milk tea. It was very creamy and the flavor can best be compared to drinking a liquified flan or creme brulee. Sugar level was fine with me, but I can see it being too sweet for some. This is important because you cannot adjust or modify anything in the drink. The price is definitely on the high end for boba, but considering the fresh ingredients they use I am mostly ok with it.
Preferences in boba is very subjective, so definitely take this review with a grain of salt. This may very well end up being your favorite boba spot. But for me, this may only be an once in a...
