My daughter and I entered this chili's today for lunch after a long morning of shopping. We have came to this location many times before because it was one of our favorites. We ordered the three for me, the food was good however that is not why I gave it one star. I gave this restaurant a one star because of the service and people. The person up front who seats you was nice. My problem was our waitress. We sat down and looked at our menu. She was slowly making her way over laughing with other waiters which I let pass I didn't mind. She finally took our drink order then left. She didn't come back, the bar guy who we had before when we came last time, came and took the rest of our order. The table who was sat after us got their food first, even though we ordered first and sat down first, that when we began noticing our problem we had. We finally got our food. Our waitress hardly checked on us and checked on the other tables more, making sure to get what they needed while we were only checked on once and wasn't even to ask if we needed anything. We had to ask the front lady for our boxes, and our tab, the lady gave us our boxes and let our waitress know we wanted our bill. That's when she came over to give us our bill. I told her I would be ready in two minutes but she just left and never came back so I left the cash on our table and we packed up to go. We found out that the table who got their food first was her friends. I then went to the bar guy to tell him about her service. He proceed to tell me she had a broken ankle. I would understand if she was slow due to her past injury but treating other customers differently and not the same has nothing to do with a past broken ankle. When we tried to explain further he told us that it was his wife and walked off not letting us speak. We will not be coming back to this restaurant, and will choose applebees or somewhere else the next time...
Read moreDined there last night, experienced the WORST customer service! The manager is very unprofessional and inexperienced! Used to eat there quite frequently and now we won’t go back again! I do not recommend this place!
Our server messed up the order and placed two orders of appetizers. We get it things happen and they are busy. That was not the issue, the issue was that a worker from the kitchen came out with a second round of appetizers and we told him that wasn’t for us. He took it back to the kitchen, then our server stormed out of the kitchen with the appetizers and said we HAD ordered them! My friend tried to explain to her that she must have misunderstood and that we only ordered one egg roll order and one of the chips and salsa. She put her hands up in the air and rolled her eyes and in a very sarcastic way told us “OKAY! It’s not a big deal! I’ll fix it!” My friend and I looked at each other shocked that she had just yelled at us like that over her mistake! The entire restaurant heard it! We asked to speak to a manager. We told him what had just happened and he acted like he didn’t know what to do with the situation and tried to say that this server was very quirky and maybe we misunderstood her? That was not quirkiness that was attitude and rudeness! He then went on to tell us that he would sit her down after hours and address the issue with her and he didn’t know how that would go? Being a manager he should have just said “I’m sorry, I will get you a different server.” That should have been the end of that. It’s none of our business what you do with your employees! We went to have dinner there and were mistreated. The whole experience...
Read moreI have 3 negative experiences here.
First, I was here for a staff meeting and one of our staff ordered a burger. The burger came out with a wad of hair in it. Not just a string, but a small hair ball. When we brought it up to the waiter (who was also the manager) he sent it back and got our staff member a new burger. The only downside is he charged us for 2 burgers. When we tried to fight it, he put his hands up and said, "I don't make the rules."
The second experience came a few months after that. We decided to give chilis another chance.. We came in with a small group of family that were from out of town. One of our party had forgotten a mask. In the past, they would let you sit down and the waitress would bring your mask the ten feet to your other group member. This time they invited the entire party to leave. There was less than half of a restaurant there, the table was less than 10 feet away and everyone was fully vaccinated and this was before the mask mandate. Again, same manager put his hands up in the air and said the same thing, "I don't make the rules." The rules at the time were that if you weren't vaxxed you needed to wear a mask but if you were vaxxed a mask wasn't necessary. We were then physically shepherded out of the restaurant and til never to come back because we made the staff feel unsafe not wearing my masks.
We haven't gone back and are now afraid to even if we wear masks for fear of what could be spit or thrown...
