I was driving by and saw this restaurant on my way to another restaurant and I do not regret diverting my path to come to this restaurant instead. Upon entering the restaurant I instantly knew this wasn’t like any other restaurant. The staff was very professional and polite in attending my group of 6 people. They guided us to a table and brought us complimentary water and chips with salsa. They didn’t pressure us to hurry up and decide like other restaurant and instead waited for us patiently until we were ready. Their service was quick and professional. They brought all of our food at the same time except one plate. The waitress had forgotten one plate but quick realized she forgot the plate. She brought the plate still hot and apologized. I happily accept her apology because I had barely finished my other plate. They brought me complimentary dessert as an apology for their mistake, which they handled professionally unlike many other restaurants not wanting to take blame. They didn’t rush us with the bill and instead waited for all of us to finish and asked if we wanted anything else. Apart from their professional work and way of handling mistakes. They made the most delicious Mexican food I had had in a long time at a restaurant. I live in Los Angeles and I didn’t live so far I would come often. As I read most of the comments I would see the most negative reviews and see that these people would mostly be white people who have never tasted authentic real Mexican food like this. If you read this ignore the negative reviews they have never tasted real Mexican...

You know, the rice and beans were excellent, let's just start with that. I did refried. Also, had thier Carne Asada burrito, which comes with beans inside. You choose the beans, they have all three types. Burrito also had rice and beans as a combo. The burrito also comes with green sauce and cheese on top and side of guac. I opted for sour cream on the inside to give it nicer smoother taste. My beer off draft was fine, as was the other drinks I had. My booth was clean, chips and salsa delivered right away. Chips were ok, not great, but good. Salsa was good, also not great, but did the job. Staff was pleasant and constantly checking on me and all, which I appreciated. It was about 50% full at restaurant, seemed like a lot of regulars, so that's a good sign. Need to try thier top shelf Margarita's too, I'm curious. Only negative was one section of the carne was a bit difficult to chew, but all in all, tasty. Will go back. Also, staff was exceptionally attentive as I walked in to seat me, and they didn't put me in a smaller booth, but a larger one, which I appreciated, as I'm not 150lbs. Also, they had the lighting just right, cozy lighting, which was a great touch for a...

Prices on website are vastly different than when we called in. They wanted to charge $15.99 for two enchiladas and a taco. We quickly called back and cancelled our two enchilada combinations and one with one taco came up to $33 without tip! Very high prices for enchiladas with ground beef. I really push for local businesses to succeed and prior to my illness I used to frequent this establishment. When we called back to cancel the order the man became very rude and said we will never be able to order from them again! We explained there prices were very different on their menu. We called another local restaurant and it came to $24 for the same exact order. When my friends visit from Arizona they are shocked at the prices for simple Mexican food here. I wonder if the owner would appreciate it if he knew about this...

Holy cow, was this good! I ordered a chili Colorado burrito. I don't know much about Colorado, but if I have to judge you by the meatiness of your chili, you people are cool in my book. Got this mountain (pics with hand for size reference) of a tasty, meaty burrito with prompt, friendly service and a good price. Came hungry, left happy with a big load of leftovers. Will have to come again. EDIT: Came back and tried the carne asada chimichanga. Pics added. They went for an open-sided chimi style, which is fine. I was slightly disappointed in that I expected it to have more of a sauce to it, more like a wet burrito, like so many other chimichangas, but this one . . . I wouldn't call it *dry*, and I was still quite happy with it. It just didn't quite meet expectations, is all. Will definitely return and try more of their menu.
