If you've ever had someone practically throw your food to you from the drive thru window with the top of the bag crumpled up by the server's fist, you are not alone. This Del Taco location is run like a well oiled machine and the people there pay very close attention to the little details making a drive thru experience very pleasant. I've observed the manager Jorden multi tasking like a pro between taking orders and keeping a watchful eye on everything that comes out of this location. I had the carnitas wet burrito plato and it's delightful! This tasty dish also comes with fresh warm chips along with salsa as well. I highly recommend this establishment for many reasons and hope that they maintain their level of service as I'll continue to support something that is head and shoulders above the rest. I'm sure that a huge part of this is because they're fortunate to have someone like Jorden who leads this awesome team. You can just sense that the employees are all truly happy to be doing what they do so well...awesome crew! I should also add that Del Taco uses real cheese as opposed to Taco Bell which has this processed plastic feeling yucky pretend cheese. The aforementioned dish also comes with real avocado slices topping the mouth watering burrito and the pork is fresh and clean 😀 Thank you Jorden and company for making this place a joy to visit! PS...I'd love to share a photo of this dish but I put it in my belly the moment I lifted the top off the tray and the aroma hit me....
Read moreI'd like to say I have nothing against this restaurant, but when I saw the dried corner on the meat of the steak taco I hadn't eaten (I just couldn't force myself anymore). So the rating is now also for the restaurant, but the only real reason I decided I had to make this review is because someone thought this would make for a good recipe to replace the great tacos they used to serve.
Whew... what can I say about these things? They're sloppy and they lack flavor. That's the primary thing, since a tasty sloppy thing is generally enjoyable. But, yeah... the steak in particular is unpalatable. It's not at all a flavor that makes you want to keep ordering these. The chicken is a bit better... the flavor of it is a bit richer.
I wouldn't order either of these newer tacos ever again. I miss the old tacos very much. The previous incarnations had semi-blackened meat, onions, cilantro, a bit of sauce and for those who like avocado, a whole big slice per taco. The flavor wasn't too off from what you could have gotten from a local cantina or taqueria. Now it's like the worst pan scrapings imaginable wrapped in flimsy corn tortillas with a halfhearted slap of wilted onions kinda off to the side.
Not even the Del Scorcho sauce saves it. Nope. Just DON'T... unless you're curious. It may be to your taste, certainly not mine.
Hope this helped people better understand the current state of this Del Taco restaurant, perhaps even the...
Read moreMost horrible experience I have ever had!!! Never have I ever had worse experience at Del Taco. Supposedly, I spoke to the GM Scott. He said that he would replace the order completely for me. I told him what was wrong with the food. The food was not appetizing, I specifically asked for lots of sauce (didn't get a single one), fries were under cooked for about a minute so they were potatoes, the taco shells were old and stale, etc. He then asked me what was wrong again. Then he said let me talk to my higher ups. He said he would call me back. He never did! How rude. I literally left the food in my kitchen waiting for his call. So I call back 24 hours, speak to manager, Juan and he says oh yes you spoke to my GM and he said he is not willing to replace the food because of the price. WOW!!! I spent $70 at this place and told him how rude that was and I will reach out to my bank. He said thank you. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I will never recommend Del Taco again. They have no respect for there customers nor do they understand the meaning of the hard...
