Although they offer curbside pickup on their app, they don’t actually provide it “if they are busy”. I went to this location specifically for curbside because I’m disabled with a cane and it’s hard to go through doors with a cane, a raw pizza on flimsy cardboard, a salad, cookie dough, and a 2 liter bottle. The app says call to let them know yo are there. I scheduled my pickup for 4:15. I get there on time and call 4 times with the phone ringing 10 and 15 times each time with no one answering. I grab my cane and hobble on in. I look in the pizza cubby, no order. They have even started it yet. I’m standing there waiting for one of the 5 employees I see to help me, trying to see if there’s someone looking my way to flag down, but even the two people standing directly in front of me are avoiding me, probably because their assembling pizzas. OK. Understandable, but no one else is bothering either. Finally I ask a customer if they are familiar with the curbside pickup and then the phone starts to ring and goes unanswered. I mention to the customer that they refuse answer the phone, so I don’t have any idea how I’m supposed to let them know I’m there for curbside. At this point the manager. Audra (?) jumps in and proceeds to tell me she’s not refusing to answer the phone, but they’re busy and she doesn’t answer the phone when they’re busy. Huh? I told her I understand they’re busy, but how is the curbside customer supposed to let you know they are here? She replied with another “I don’t answer the phone when we’re busy”. OK It’s now 4:25 and my order has not even been started yet as I stand there with my cane, which is what I’m trying to avoid by ordering curbside, since I live closer to the S Carson store that doesn’t provide curbside I drove farther to get curbside. My mistake. I decide at this point that it’s too frustrating to get the answer to my logical question from her without an argument and getting accused of being a “Karen”, and my hip is killing me, so I tell them I’m going to my car and I’ll be back in to see if my order is ready. 5 minutes later me and my cane get back out of the car. As I’m almost to the door Audra comes out with my order. I start to take it from her, where she says “I can get it for you”. I say “I got it….you’re too busy”. As I take my food she laughs at me, and I balance my way to my car and leave. Thanks Audra. Thanks Audra. Didn’t mean to interrupt you. Sorry about that. Thought I was at a business that has customer service.
So, when they are busy, the phone, the communication for the business, becomes last priority, so curbside customers and customers calling in orders fall to the bottom of the list. No one can call them to tell them they are there, and no one can call them to place an order. Nice.
So, if you are relying on curbside because you are disabled, this is not a handicap friendly store. They’ll even laugh at you. Now I get to ponder about why they offer curbside pickup if they can’t provide it. What really makes me a bit “cheesed off” is Audra got a $5 tip for laughing at me because I paid with the app and always tip. Another mistake. Thanks again Audra.
Edit to add that if you click the link they give you when they respond, you have to enter your email and phone number and agree to their marketing. It’s been 3 days and I’ve got additional spam, but no response from anyone from clicking...
Read moreI order here frequently and the pizza is always great other than a lack of sauce sometimes but nothing to complain about. However the experience I had today in this store was unacceptable. I placed an order at 5:06 on the app. It was to be ready at 5:38. I got to the store about 6:00pm to pick up my order. My pizzas were ready and I was able to grab my cheese bread from the fridge but I did not see any garlic knots. There was a couple people in the store so I got in line and waited to be helped. I waited a very long time and was never asked if I needed to be helped. Three men who came in after me were helped and able to leave all while I stood there and waited. I finally asked if I could get my garlic knots so I could go home the young man at the register tried to ring me up but I had already paid so he then went back to making pizzas. I then waited and brought it up again to another woman making pizzas as she’d helped three other men who came in after me. I was told that she could refund me or I could find something else but never really offered to get what I was asking for or tell me if they had any. I let her know that I would just like my order so I could go home as I have kids that need to eat dinner. She told me she’s doing the best she can and Tuesdays are busy. I said as much as I understand that you’ve helped three other people before me. She stated she was making another pizza for another customer who came in after me and I would need to wait. I watched her and everyone else walk around the shop making pizzas for a while. Nobody communicating with me about my order or what was going on. I finally asked again about my order she ignored me and when I asked why I was being ignored she said “I heard you ma’am” then I continued to wait. Finally she brought out the garlic knots and handed them to me. I asked her her name she stated her name is Audra and she is the general manger. I wasn’t quiet able to hear her and asked to clarify but she immediately turned around to walk away. I asked the young man to clarify who ignored me and when I asked him if everyone was now ignoring me he then clarified her name. I don’t appreciate the way I was treated communication could have been way better and customer service definitely needs to be worked on especially by the manager. I did not mind waiting for something to be made but I do not appreciate being put behind other customers who came in after me and have zero communication. That being said I also witness this manager telling employees to ignore phone calls as they came in because they were too busy to handle them. Customer service classes could be beneficial to...
Read moreI ordered online for curbside. I waited on the them to bring out my pizza for 20 minutes. I then asked my granddaughter who is a young child to let them know we were here for curbside pickup. They directed her to the pizza for her to bring out to the car. It wasn’t the complete order. I went inside asking them why my granddaughter had to bring out the pizza and they didn’t give her the correct order. I explained I was handicapped and also have a fractured back. They kept saying I had to call them first. I explained that this was not on the order website. Then continued to go back and forth with that statement and lastly said You got your pizza! I asked to speak to the manager, the employee stated he was and the other was the assistant manager. I asked them if I was going to get any compensation for my issues. He just assumed it was monetary, when I was looking for an apology. He furthermore said I could get a refund. I asked for the rest of my order and the 3rd employee that was behind the counter said in the refrigerator in a hateful tone. There were 3 employees and 2 people that were looking like they were together making an order. They said they needed notice for the curbside, they were informed when my granddaughter went in explaining we were there waiting also gave them my name. Looking at the receipt when I got home, big bold letters CURBSIDE on it. Along with my name, the time of pickup, including the description of my car that was requested by the online order system. The manager, assistant manager and cashier were extremely rude, disrespectful, condescending, no remorse, bullying with no regards for their accountability of their actions! I managed many businesses and be lucky I wasn’t theirs. I was so appalled by this situation, I would give them a write up and with the knowledge that this was their final warning and would be fired if it occurred again! This behavior was unacceptable on many levels! Word to the owner, your store can advertise all you want, but the word of mouth is your bread and butter of your advertisement. A suggestion to you as well, retrain those youngsters on customer service and civility! If I could give you a zero or less, I would!!!
The owner wanted to hear more of my issues by going to the survey site, which was no way of getting to know more about my issue. It was just that a survey to give me a coupon. I tried the the chat with the Brand Ambassador and all they do is submit your information to receive a response from them. I submitted my contact information 3 times and never heard back. Basically any complaints are not resolved. To the owner, no I...
