Five Guys — Restaurant in Carson

Long time customer here. I have generally been very happy with the service and quality of food at this location, but today we had a terrible experience.

The big guy that was cooking tonight was extremely rude. From the moment we walked in he looked at us like he was annoyed with having to cook more burgers. We ordered with a nice female cashier, and proceeded to wait for our order.

It came out, we asked for ketchup and the guy was almost offended that we did. He took a long time to walk to the ketchup boxes, opened a new one, then organized it before throwing a few baggies on our order bag. I said thanks, and was ignored.

Got home with our food and noticed our burgers were drenched in ketchup, when we asked for LIGHT KETCHUP, and our fries are extremely salty.

Again, we come here multiple times a month and the food quality was very sub par.

I never say things like this lightly, but you must get rid of this guy. He is destroying the experience...

First time ever having Five Guys, and I get the hype now. I’m officially obsessed with the peanuts—ALL the peanuts. 🥜 Didn’t realize until afterward that the fries are cooked in peanut oil, which explains why they’re so addictive. The Cajun fries? Total game-changer—spicy, crunchy, and packed with flavor.

I ordered a junior burger combo (of course added jalapeños because I love everything spicy 🌶️), plus a plain unseasoned patty on the side for my dog. He was just as happy as I was. The burger was fresh, juicy, and loaded with toppings exactly how I wanted it.

Honestly, I have nothing negative to say. If anything, I’d love it if they had at least some beer on the menu—seems like it would pair perfectly. 🍔🍟🍺

I just (today) ordered five guys and I've got to say I'm very disappointed especially with the quality of beef their using in their burgers, it's not as tender or juicy and there's a whole lot of hard chewy pieces such as tendon, ugh ! Not to gross anyone out but I had to spit quite a bit out to the point of not being able to eat the rest of the beef. I only ate the bun and veggies, etc. This is the second or third time I've noticed this and have called the restaurant to state my disappointment and manager was attentive and mentioned for my contacting corporate office which I plan on. Hopefully they'll go back to what they were doing before then maybe I'll go back. Sad and...
