After waiting for more than an hour ( as expected because it was Dec 25) Kathleen Miller, who was the manager on site at the moment was called because another party was seated in the table that was for us. When she talked to my husband she was not apologetic at all, she said she have called our name out loud and that we didn't respond but nobody called out our name , they asked the other party directly if that was their name on the paper, they said yes and were seated in our place. The manager was extremely rude when approached with the issue. She then proceeded to seat us in another table, and that's when I told her " You know, an apology goes a long way" she got close to my face and very loud said " First of all!!! Merry Christmas !!" After that when we told her her attitude wasn't acceptable she continued to say " She had been a manager for 30+ years, that she wasn't going to apologize and she didn't have to take this" there is a lot more to this conversation which was witnessed by many on staff and many customers because it got very loud. When I asked her for her name she sarcastically said she will even write it down for me. I told her to please stop talking to me in that tone, she laughed and ignored me. She sent a paper with her name, last name and added the phone number of support center. The added information shows me that she is used to treat people that way and is not afraid of consequences. This person should not be in a management position, managers are supposed to de escalate a situation not escalate it to this level. Nicole and Suzane ( i believethat that was their names) , who were our servers, apologized for something the didn't do and made sure to make us feel welcome. Suzane acted like a real manager should and tried to make it right for us eventhough she wasn't at fault at all. That's the kind of people that should be in the management positions, not Kathleen Miller. I do expect something to be done about this, I'll be reaching out to Norms executives to let them know what kind of managements they have in this location that is harming their business. Customers should not be treated in such manner. This is unacceptable. I do not recommend this place , this is not the first bad experience I have at this...
Read moreI go to this norms occasionally and they usually do such a great job the servers are amazing but why was my sandwich given to me in pieces? I don't understand I ordered it to go and obviously it's going to be a sandwich with a stick in it to hold it together right? But everything was apart and I was pretty much building my own sandwich. I guess that's not much of an issue but I mean I should be getting a half a sandwich that's already built. By the way they also gave my cousin refried fries rerere fried fries and I know what rerere fried fries look and taste like because I used to work in fast food and they would make us give the fries away that way. Which is pretty gross unless you like them that way. I guess it isn't gross if you like 30 minute old fries that are refried. Also the tomatoes in my sandwich were old. Again I know what old tomato slices taste like and look like but I still ate it I guess it's okay. Another thing my cousin is vegetarian I guess pescatarian and you guys put pieces of chicken in her tuna sandwich or I guess hurt tuna melt whatever it was and she ate it and then found pieces of chicken in the tuna sandwich. I'm pretty sure a tuna sandwich shouldn't have chicken in it I don't think that was very cool of you guys. I mean I guess I could understand how the meats would get together but it's a tuna sandwich not a chicken tuna sandwich. if we wanted a chicken sandwich / chicken melt we would have gotten one of those. I guess sometimes you guys are too lazy to pick the meat out or just too tired to but you made my pescatarian cousin feel shame because of your mistake. Now her body is infected and it's pretty much a sin and we are forever shameful I hope you can live with that norms employees anyways I have to go to sleep now I was going to download Yelp to give my review there but instead I came here again I'd like to see your service is great though. I mean quality food costs a lot more I guess I don't eat there for quality food I ate there because I am hungry and it's quote on quote affordable mediocre food. Next time I'll make my own sandwich at home. Goodnight...
Read moreWorst experience I've ever had. We came in at 10:00 with a larger crowd. There were 12 of us. We were told approx 15 minute wait time. I get it, we're a bigger crowd. Other parties with 6-8 got seated pretty quickly that came in after us. After waiting almost an hour, we finally get seated. Our waiter walks away and starts to chat with the manager who's standing at the front entrance area. After waiting another 20 minutes sitting down, still nobody ever comes to get a drink order or offer us water, after we get no attention at all, we finally decided we'd had enough and decided maybe it was best we leave. We had small children that were hungry. People that came in after us, sat down and ate and left before us. Absolutely ridiculous. As we're walking out the manager mumbles something and smiles and waves to us good bye. I asked him what he said and he tells me nothing. Once I get my kids in the car I go back in to get the managers name. He says I can talk to Antwan and turns to go the other way so I couldn't see his name tag. Antwan was the shift leader according to his badge. The manager was an African American man, bald head, black pants white button up short sleeve shirt. Never got a single apology, never any attention whatsoever. I will never go back here, and I will tell everyone I know about the experience we had. I hate to do that but that's crazy. We had small kids that were hungry and ready to eat. Extremely poor service all the way around. I get it's late and we're a larger party, but they were better off telling us off the top they were gonna take forever to get to us. If I could give 0 stars I would. It did smell good though.Thank God thereâs a Dennyâs across the street that was very...
