Upon arrival we were told it was going to take about 5 minutes to seat our party of six and it took over 15 minutes to seat us. People that showed up after us were seated faster than we were. After we got seated it took the waiter about 10 before he came to our table. The section where we were seated smelled like sewage, not a pleasant smell. Ray’s customer service was excellent in the beginning but after he took our order his whole demeanor changed upon coming back. Seems like he was getting a hard time from management. The food was decent, nothing special. They forgot to bring out one of our appetizers and they forgot one of the soups that was ordered with the entree. We didn’t get asked if we wanted to try a different soup when we asked for more, they just brought out the same soup that was ordered at first. When we needed refills, no one asked us if we wanted refills on anything. It would take a while before we seen our waiter again. Towards the end when we were trying to pay for our food, the machine wasn’t letting us pay and we were waiting for about 15 minutes and no one had approached us. We got up and went to pay in the front and we were told that Ray had to clock out so he wouldn’t get a violation. We weren’t notified he went to clock out and there was no one that replaced him, bad customer service on the management’s end for this, it wasn’t Ray’s fault. The manager that came out to help us also seemed bothered, if I’m not mistaken, I seen Ruben on his name tag. I’ve been going to Olive Garden for years and it has never been an unpleasant experience until now.

The service at this Olive Garden is just the best. Kim helped us and she was just a wonder. She was so kind to me grandson and when I had to correct him to say please, she just smiled at him and said what he said was great. She paid so much attention to him and listened to him. It is hard to understand him when he speaks. She just stood there and was so happy when we got the words out and she would smile at him some more. He told me he wants to go back to see his friend. Now, they have games on a pad at the table so if you have a kid, get ready to be ignored, but that is fine. Clearly, those games are more interesting than me and his Pop Pop. The place is ever so clean, including the bathrooms and the booths are big and comfortable. The lobby is pretty and the front desk staff is really nice. If I were you I would go around 4 for dinner or it is going to be very crowded. We loved our food. Their never ending salad bowl is just perfect. I am not in love with their bread sticks, but my grandson love them. All of the pastas are super. We had Ziti and a dish with ravioli, linguini and chicken parmesan. All of it was great. We had never had steak there, but my husband was brave and wanted to try it. It came out just as ordered with great vegetables and he was thrilled. Their little donuts with two sauces on the side are so good. These are addictive. The prices are fair and again, you won't find better service.

This was a great go to spot for their salads until the host, a young Black girl with beaded braids that was very helpful, seated us at a booth and a few moments later I see a German cockroach crawling on the table up alongside the wall. I recorded this creepy scene to show the manager and give the restaurant some feedback. I would not be eating at a place with roaches, CANT DO IT. I approached the front desk to speak with the manager Ruben (I think his name was) older skinny Hispanic gentleman with gray hair, and after telling him and showing him the video he acted like it was minor. He questioned well what is it, it's moving and here let me zoom in for you. He stated that he couldn't see it and I immediately informed him that we will not be eating here and you guys need to spray. He stated that he would schedule and exterminator but I will not be back to see it. This restaurant is a franchise & they should be more accountable for the cleanliness and safeguarding the eating areas for their customers.

Horrible experience. I showed up with a party of 9, I was told that I had a 45 minute to 1 hour wait. After waiting almost a hour we were seated. From the start the energy of the server wasn't consistent with any past experiences. I live in Long Beach but I drive to this location because normally the food is excellent and the customer service is unbeatable. After waiting an additional 15 minutes to order we were then told that the soup (Zuppa Toscana) we came for had a 30 minute wait time. For soup????? Frustrated with the fact that the waitress allowed the entire group to order their meals and soups before telling us about the soup, we reluctantly agreed and waited. Within 5 minutes we received bread sticks which could only be described as crunchy bricks. Everyone took one bite and they remained on the table until we left. Twenty minutes later our main courses arrived. We didn't see the waitress for another 20 to 25 minutes, at which point we had to ask for refills to our endless pasta orders. At this point I asked the waitress when we would expect or soups because the meals were almost complete. She told me that the kitchen was out of Zuppa Toscana and asked if I wanted any other type of soup. No I don't want any other soup. It was clear that I came for that particular soup. I asked for the bill, expressed my frustration with the fact that the information of no soup was never relayed to the group because it would have absolutely altered our dinner plans that night. She said that she would check with the kitchen one more time. By this time two of my children had fallen to sleep at the table, and I was honestly over the botched dinner. Within minutes the waitress returned with several bowls of zuppa Toscana. A few people in the group ate the one bowl of soup that was brought to our table. I requested a to go container to take it to go, as well as breadsticks (maybe they would get it right this time) The waiter stated that he would go get them right away. 10 more minutes passed, I collected my two sleeping children and my group left.

Very shocked at the service. Unhappy with the way my meal played out, and unfortunately I now feel as though I have to find a different location.

Even with the horrible service, and the quality of the meal, I still tipped 15 % of the bill. Very dissatisfied this time, and shocked as this is not the norm for...

Sad to say my visit was totally unsatisfactory the meal was decent the manner in which it was served was terrible the hostess who received Us in at the at the sign encounter explained to us that it would be a 5 minute wait though there was no one waiting in the lobby and there was plenty of seating and the restaurant and plenty of people eating there I question her why we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated and she said because we are just opening it was 11:35 and people were seated and eating after which we were seated at a table and the table had sticky something on it when I inquired to the servant he informed me that all that's probably just from the kids menu this stick there and he did come back and give me a napkin to lay on top he never offered to clean the table I waited till after I finish my meal before I requested to speak to a manager regarding the the reception at the front door and he was kind enough and Casual enough to say he'll look into it but the type of service I received it is more far more Superior than the food the food can be good but the taste in my mouth was very distasteful I don't think I'll ever go back to that particular Garden could it be because it's in Carson California or could it be that is poor management I think a bit of both but five people standing at the reception desk and one informs me that I have to wait 5 minutes while the other one kindly came over and said ma'am I will seat you there is something wrong there and I think it's mismanagement I'm so sorry to say that in as much as I live in the area I will not be patronizing that place again I do hope that they will open up a new the another restaurant that's waiting to be open soon I will pick 9 a.m. service is your front picket line and if you don't have a decent representation at the front then people are not going to be happy with the meal thank you for accepting my...
