I usually use the Brusters in Kennesaw, Marietta, and powder Springs. But I just moved to Cartersville so I decided to try the Brusters here. I always get the cotton candy explosion. It has been one of my biggest pregnancy cravings so I was really excited to get it but this is definitely not cotton candy explosion. It was a huge letdown and it honestly didn’t even taste good at all. I was not able to finish it. Cotton candy explosion is supposed to be a cotton candy ice cream, which is usually pink or blue or a mix of the two with red and blue pop rocks in it. they gave me vanilla ice cream with pop rocks in it. I don’t know why they are calling this cotton candy. After they handed it to me, I asked if this was cotton candy ice cream and they said yes. After I tasted it, I can definitely guarantee that it is just regular vanilla. It also has a very grainy texture. I am definitely not going to go to this Brusters again which really sucks because I love Brusters but the whole reason why I love Brusters so much is because of the cotton candy explosion. I also asked for a cone so that it would be easier for me to eat while driving and they asked if they can just put it in a cup. Of course I said yes because I didn’t...
Read moreI have never written a review, good or bad, in regards to customer service but I have never been as disrespected as I was last night. I drive to the Brusters in Cartersville about an hour/hour and a half before the posted closing time and all of the outdoor lights are off. I didn't think anything about it besides maybe they're having issues with the lights. Then I pull into the drive way to order two single cups of ice cream and one of the women working at the time starts getting annoyed asking us to repeat our order at least 5 times. Still didn't think anything about it, maybe she's had a rough day or the speaker isn't working (we all have those days) . However, when we pulled up to the window, she completely ignored us as she picked at her nails even though she was standing right in front of us. When we went to pay, she asked if we wanted to leave a tip and when we said no, she wouldn't give me my card back until I left a tip. Then she proceeded to throw our ice cream at us and cussed at us as we drove off. The service was very unprofessional, immature, and...
Read moreI give one star to this ice cream place for two reasons: Portions are not consistently the same and the most important: Employees are not required to wear masks. I got in line to buy ice cream for my two kids and notice that the people in front of me were all wearing masks and even keeping social distance even though they were just outside. When it was my turn to order, I approached the counter and noticed that all the high schoolers serving the ice cream were not wearing masks. I observed them conversing, laughing, etc while holding people’s ice cream and preparing orders. When I asked the person at the cash register why they were not wearing masks he simply stated he was not required to do so. I find that not requiring masks for employees is a reckless decision from the management of this place. Employees can sneeze at any time on your ice cream or particles of their saliva can end up on your ice cream while they talk. Mask wearing is to protect others and should be mandated for employees. COVID is real and there are still many vulnerable...
