Supermercado Guerrero — Local services in Carthage

Every time I make tostadas de verdura at home I buy from here, but literally last week I buy tostadas here , since later in the week I was planning on making them and two days ago I open the bag and it has a dirty/spoiled smell. So we live in Joplin and don’t always go to Carthage , and we wait for this weekend to bring them back and show them how they smell and at least get a replacement since we only use 3 and 1 bag still unused they said no unless we had a receipt. Wow we come here a lot of buy chicken and tostadas and they lost a loyal customer. We didn’t save the receipt it’s obviously their tostadas we never return stuff here but I guess that the customer service they deliver smh. For a small business to treat their customers like this speaks volumes.

Update: Unfortunately the receipt wasn’t saved and that is so disingenuous though , you guys literally could’ve recognize it was “YOURS” there was an unopened packs. You guys could’ve literally counted the pack and compared it to yours ?!? I’m sorry but who else sells tostadas ? La tiendita and el quetzal sell them but they obviously different styles and why would we do that ? We just wanted a replacement cuz it smelled dirty/spoiled can’t believe you would sell that to people. Your a small business you know your product, don’t you ?? It’s not like I returned a sprite ? You knew it was yours and could’ve given the customer the benefit of the doubt. I guarantee if it was your family returning it , there wouldn’t been a problem , I get it , you guys make the policy as the owners wife you could’ve done something nice for your customer. Anyways I’m done with my business and will tell family not to shop and go somewhere where they treat customers nice and not like tostada...

It's really nice little supermarket it's hispanic Mexican culture of vegetables and their products they had a hot bar meaning food you just enjoy the smells of the different things that are in there it's not a very big store but it's probably everything that that Hispanic people could want for a small little in town grocery store besides Walmart which that's another whole story. But they were all so very much on explaining all the different things that we were asking about like different spices and vegetables that they had they got just about anything that you might want in that line...

Be careful coming here. They’re known for over charging and have caught them a few times until the cashier made it obvious today that they’re stealing from their customers. Dude rang up a bag of candies 3 times and tried to play it off like he didn’t know what he was doing when they are notorious for stealing from their customers by overcharging!! Go to La Tiendita on River street and avoid getting...
