The staff here gets a lot of grief... Reading through these reviews though.... Moldy toilet paper? You didn't check it before you bought it? It's not the stores fault. It's shipped that way.
Issues with online order pick up? Know what? You are going to the store anyway. Why not carve out the time to get out of your air conditioned homes, out of your air conditioned cars, and shop your orders as opposed to having someone else do it then proceed to have it brought out to your car, loaded to your trunk and you find it necessary to find reasons to complain about everything? Wow... Society got lazy and cruel during covid.
Any store that offers the service of online ordering and pickup service curbside? Kiddos to you because the people that complain would never get out of their cars in the rain, snow or heat to get it themselves. Enjoy that air-conditioning..... I wonder. What did you all do before online an curbside was even an option for these stores..... You realize no one actually wants to do the job anymore because you are thankless enough to complain about pretty much everything. Just saying. A little gratitude goes a long way.
And another thing.... If you cancel your cards; like credit cards.... The number can be recycled after x amount of time. You likely didn't cancel it like you thought you did and auto renewed. You seriously can't be charged for something you "cancelled years ago" out of the blue and one day down the line get charged again ...
Just stop complaining and find a resolve. Jeez stop looking for drama where there is none to be had. Easy remedies do exist. Why you refuse to exercise that and turn to the internet...
Read moreConcerning bakery conditions... i was about to purchase their 24 pack of fresh cookies and found multiple bugs flying INSIDE the plastic package. Upon closer review this was present in several of the containers on the bakery table. Either bugs got trapped inside the kitchen production and they replicated, or there are so many flying insects around the baked goods section that a bunch found their way into a bunch of closed containers. Which version is worse?
Regardless, we passed on any cookies or other fresh food items. Not only were we disappointed because their cookie chunk recipe is excellent, but we were so disgusted I do not know if I'll ever purchase these from this location in the future. Ironically, our membership expires this month and it's clearly a sign to try other wholesale stores.
Historically, we've favored this club and location. However, since the pandemic with shrink-flation and their redesigned merchandising setup it has only been downhill. It is frustrating, but there is a reason retailers come and go over time and Amazon takes over.
Also worth noting is the lack of a customer satisfaction experience. I went out of my way to find and employee in the back and then ask for a supervisor. Upon showing the manager the gross health code violation, I received nothing for my trouble. Did they remove the packages I pointed out? Yes (from what I saw) Did they articulate what caused it? NO Did they express any real contrition? NO Did they show appreciation for getting the section cleared? NO Did they offer so much as a coupon or an IOU for...
Read moreI don’t know what it is about this BJs but every time I go there is an issue with customer service and the greeters and how they treat me. I only go here when I work at the hospital. I’m closer to the Raleigh location. Well this past Monday I went to make a return. Upon arrival the greeter was not particularly friendly. But I ignored him and went directly to customer service. There was a long line and the one lady there was training a new lady. I attempted to return my items and was told that I could not return any of my items. I was so confused because I had just seen a lady in front of me return a pack of Yoo-hoo. Mind you I was only trying to return non perishable items with a receipt. She said the policy was sent to us in the second page of the coupon book. I don’t even remember receiving a coupon book this month. So then I proceeded to the exit and heard the greeter explaining the new coupon policy to a guest. And when I asked him to explain it to me he kind of had an attitude and was short with me. I just ended up leaving because I felt so I welcomed. Went to the Raleigh one yesterday and was able to return everything! Also all the time I spent in the line I never saw any sign saying that I could not return items in Cary. I will not visit this BJs anymore. Most of the time the staff is very rude...
