Starbucks — Restaurant in Cary

The service was awful!!! This Starbucks & the Target it is located in is simply a Teenager’s playground. I probably will NOT return here. We walked up, the barista was talking to her friends while another 1 stood to the side of the back area. We finally ordered after her conversation with them. Her friends sat down with their drinks. We placed our order: grande pineapple, passion fruit lemonade WITH our own cup & a white chocolate mocha Frappuccino & I need to add money to my card. She said I couldn’t add money in the store. She rung it up and walked off to talk to her friends. I’m standing here with my phone to pay. My daughter looked at me & we were both confused. She was discussing her keys & getting something from the car. So we continued to stand there. Then the barista asked if I wanted to pay. (I mean, YES!!!) She took my payment & went back to talk to her friends while making our drinks. We noticed her making a white looking drink. We’re confused again. We asked if that’s mine and she said yes. I asked her where is the coffee. She replied with its crème based. I told her I ordered the white chocolate mocha, that’s coffee. Then she looks at us, looks at her friends, then back at us, then her friends again. I asked if she had my order right b/c I didn’t get a receipt. At that time, we had to explain it to her while more friends walked in. I told my daughter, at this point, I feel like this entire store is a teenage playground. Ridiculous. She didn’t ring up my order correctly, she didn’t enter that we had our own cup for the 10 cent discount & 25 stars. You can view the videos, it was a hangout spot (1-15-23 around 6:40 pm). None of the 3 drinks I ordered were prepared correctly. One was missing a scoop of dragon fruit sprinkles, the second one was missing the caramel drizzle, and the third one was a caramel ribbon crunch and she added mint. She also forgot to use the Starbucks cup I brought for one of the drinks. On top of that, we waited longer than usual even though there were no customers other than us. The barista was not focused while preparing our drinks because she kept talking to two Target guys that stopped by. Terrible experience compared to other Starbucks locations. Do yourself a favor and instead of going to this location, go to the Starbucks on Parkside...

Ordered a peppermint mocha grande from this Starbucks. The whipped cream on top was flat like the can was sitting outside of the fridge all day or they didn't shake the can before topping my drink. Besides the drink not being aesthetically pleasing neither was the drink. When I ordered the drink, the barista was apparently new because she didn't know what she was doing. This should have been a warning that I should've cancelled my order. After taking a few sips it tasted awful. I threw it out.
