I walked in to the front counter as the counter cashier was giving the last customer their order. The counter person clearly saw me standing their, but did not acknowledge me. She turned to prepare a drive-thru order. I waited patiently. Another young lady appeared as another customer approached the counter next to me. The recently appeared counter person asked the recently appeared customer could she help and took her order. I immediately admonished the newly arrived customer for cutting in front of me. The counter person was making her ice cream cone by this time. My presence had still not been acknowledged, nor my order taken. The newly arrived customer received her ice cream and apologized for cutting the line. The counter person preceded to do something else and still never acknowledged me. I was finally fed up with the disrespect and left. Just for perspective I am a black male. The counter personnel were Hispanic. The customers present, whom they were giving their completed too were Hispanic. The customer who cut me off and received her ice cream was Caucasian. All of this great service at the counter for other races and nationalities, and I couldnāt get a ā Iāll be with you in a minute sir ā or ā a few seconds more, and weāll serve you ā. I was definitely there for more than five minutes waiting on service. No one spoke to me as I arrived, no one spoke to me as I waited, and no one spoke as I departed. I would like to think itās a matter of bad management and poor customer service training. However, I cannot get that feeling out of my gut I WAS RACIALLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. The other customers before and after me were greeted and served well. Shame on the Burger King located at 810 E. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI very rarely go to this location since I live in Phoenix right now. I only go to this location because my mom lives in Casa Grande and it's the only one any where near here place. But, my family and I will be moving there soon and I probably won't be going there any more than I do now. My mom has lived out there for years so I've still gone there enough and every single time I have gone thru the drive thru,it doesn't matter what time of day it is, what day of the weeks it is or how many people there is in front of me, it's always slow and I'm always having to wait at least 10 min. Even if I'm the only car. I don't understand it. It doesn't matter what I order either. I understand that things happen sometimes that you can't control but its every single time. Their fries are always too salty too. UPDATE: My family and I have lived out here in Casa Grande for almost 6 months now and I go to this location way more than I thought I would bcuz it seems like the management at this location was finally able to get their employees to work together well enough to cut the wait time by more than half that it used to be so now when I do go thru the drive thru it only takes about 2-4 minutes,tops,from start to finish. And its been every single time that I have gone there in the last 4 or 5 months. I'm so happy that they were able to get it together. So,I added a star to their original score for that and I gave them the 5 full stars today bcuz I finally downloaded their app and am so mad at myself for not doing it a long time ago. I really love their app. Its easy to find what you're looking for and they even give you the price of every item. You can earn points to get free items. I don't go to a Buger King w/ high expectations but this one is was beyond just BAD they have managed to take bad down to a whole other level of low to the like of which I have never come across b4 and tbh did not know existed. For starters the menu screen was busted but it was ordered online so thats no biggie. But then the employee just comes over the speak with "what?" or something along the lines of "yeah?" so I give her the online order # that ends up in short rude responses of "its not here" "i dont see it" with out any concern or apologies or attempt of trying to help/assist in anyway. I understand that it's not their fault bc those app orders can be hit or miss. I ended up paying cash and had to contact BK to get refunded. It was just the entire experience and a level of service so bad it was confusing. At one point one of the grill guys came by the window started glaring and giving me some sort of stink eye. Idk what the meaning of that was...like as if he was trying to intimidate me which left me genuinely perplexed.
