I ordered a Tavern style Pizza online with two sets of 8 piece boneless wings. The only happily edible part of the order was the 8 piece Honey BBQ wings. The pizza was dry, I think not enough sauce, but I planned to sprinkle some parmesan I had at home on top and dip in ranch to try to salvage it. However, the Garlic Parmesan chicken was soaking in oil, and that is not an exaggeration. When dipped, 2/3 of my pinky was in oil. I tasted the oil, it didn't taste like the parmesan seasoning; it was straight oil. So, either way, the most likely issue was that the chicken went straight from the fryer into the bowl, and then they just tossed the seasoning on top, but since the chicken was still piping hot all of the seasoning slid right off, and the oil from the parmesan also separated making the disgusting bath you see in the attached photo.
I called in for a refund initially for just the wings since the pizza was somewhat salvageable, and I was transferred to a manager. I ask if he was told what the issue was, he goes "Yeah, a little bit." I'm like, "Well, I can elaborate." so I start clarifying because, if I were someone that handles escalations, I'd like to know WHAT the issue was. Halfway through, he's like, "...Do you just want a replacement for the wings?" I go, "No, I'd like a refund, sir." He goes, "Okay, hold on." Places me on hold, comes back and goes, "Do you want, like, a credit?", and I go, "No, just the refund, please.". He places me on hold, then comes back and goes, "Did you have any other complaints about the order?" And I go, verbatim, "Well, the pizza also wasn't that good but I can cut-" and I was GOING to finish that with, "But I can cut my losses with that (meaning that I didn't care about the refund). He goes, "WELL, you didn't COMPLAIN about the pizza EARLIER?" I'm like, "..You just asked me right now if I had anything else wrong with the order, and I'm telling you." And he's like, "Yeah, but you didn't mention that when you called." I go, "Well, I'm mentioning it now because you asked." I explain that my primary issue was the wings, but figured I'd bring the pizza up since HE just asked. But now for his attitude and unneeded defensiveness, he can give me the refund for the pizza as well. At the end, I did receive a refund for the pizza and one set of wings.
Between the food quality, the "manager escalation" quality and lack of de-escalation or even just care for WHY I was calling in about the food, and the 3.8 review on Google that I'm now seeing I won't be purchasing here any longer. I'm not saying you need to treat me like a God on the phone, but maybe don't act like you're too busy to listen to a valid complaint about how the food wasn't made properly AND your staff can't count since they gave me two extra wings. Half of the call was spent on hold, while the other part was a mix of him sighing in my ear and sounding annoyed that he even had to deal with me in the...
Read moreGave my order to someone else who apparently said my “name”. Why didn’t the employee check the order for one, see that the car was an exact match and that they knew what was ordered. There is no way someone at my house hold woul have went to pick up the order for one there’s no women with the same vehicle like mine, nor did anybody at all know that I even ordered food from them. So either an employee is telling someone the names of prepaid orders and the time written to pick up, or the system has been hacked. Either way why wasn’t their any double checking especially since the receipt has the vehicle description, phone number, full name, etc. They remade the order and I waited no problem I wasn’t rude nor did I make the incident more than It had to. I understand mistakes happen but not only that but my receipt wasn’t completely in sight only a little part which wasn’t no help for the employee who happened to “help” me. During this time of the unfortunate pandemic I was disappointed that there was no actual procedure they had in handing out food. SOCIAL DISTANCING the whole purpose of that is to slow/stop the spread of the virus. I had to wait and risk the chance of getting virus. The employees were not at all aware that I was picking that order up and had me waiting even longer along with missing items. I thought I went to a business that followed procedures, “COVID-19 procedures”, any common sense of communication, etc. Wouldn’t recommend especially during this hurtful time in the world, where this should be not even close...
Read moreI ordered a pizza today. After eating about 3 pieces my throat is starting to feel sore. I have been having issues with this pizza hut for some time now. When i first started ordering from them they would never pick up the phone so i would have to drive up to the shop which is about a 15 minute drive. One day i decide to use the internet to order my pizza. At first everything was fine, but eventually my orders started to come in wrong. No extra cheese, or the wrong toppings. Not to mention that the majority of extra cheese pizza's I would get would be sliding off the side. The time before last I ordered a pizza, i gave them a call after (after paying the delivery man) and told them that my pizza did not have the extra cheez. This had happened before and I had just ignored it. I order from them allot so I don't want to just keep letting it slide. After talking to them about it they offered to send another pizza. I didn't want them to make another pizza and drive over here so i told them to not worry about it and to just make sure to not make the mistake again. the next time i made sure to check and ask before the delivery man left. This time I get my pizza about 30 minutes late (not a big deal it doesn't happen often) I am also feeling like my throat is feeling sore after eating 3 of the pizza's. I don't know what the deal is but I do know that I am not ordering from...
