The food hit the spot for a sandwich. Not the best I’ve had, but it’s up there in quality. I like that you can customize anything and the only additional cost is if you add more meat or cheese. They are super fast at making sandwiches. We order our food and in one minute, we had 3 sandwiches and they all were made precisely how we ordered them. This location near the Ajo Way Costco in Tucson is wonderful! I’ve been to many Jimmy Johns across AZ, and this one beats the rest in friendly customer service, speed in getting our food and accuracy in meeting our order requests. The guy stopped what he was doing, came to the register and greeted us the minute we walked in. We were in and out in less than 3 minutes, which is super convenient when you’re in a hurry and have short lunch breaks. Not all JJ’s locations are as great.

I’m specifically talking about the Tempe Marketplace Jimmy John’s location and the Jimmy John’s on Country Club and Baseline locations. They are terrible! Those locations should be shut down or hire better staff. They close early, run out of ingredients in the middle of the day and they will make you wait until they are done with what they are doing or continue with the conversation they are having with other employees (5+ minutes) before they acknowledge...

Downright PATHETIC is the only words that describe this Jimmy John’s. I placed an order tonight 3/23 at 8:04. I arrived at the restaurant almost 15 minutes later to be told that they haven’t even started working on my order. Not a single person in the restaurant or drive thru and two employees looked as if they were just standing around waiting for close. It took another 10 minutes just for them to cash me out and get my sandwiches. I ORDERED TWO SANDWICHES. TWO. One of them was incorrect, they nearly forgot my pickle and had I not grabbed the bag of chips at the counter, they would’ve forgotten that too. 30 minutes for 1/2 correct order and not a thank you when I was handed my bag of food. Cherry on top? While I was standing inside waiting for my food, I watched some poor guy pull up and wait in the drive thru for almost TEN MINUTES before his order was even taken. The two idiots working couldn’t care less that they had customers to serve. When I left, he was still sitting and waiting to even pay nonetheless receive his order. The poor sap is probably still sitting there waiting. Take this from someone who once worked in the restaurant industry, this was arguably the worst service I’ve ever seen in my life.
