Honest Review of Dinner Service

Arrived around 7PM and there was a large crowd but no wait time for a table for two. I'll break my review down by food sections.

Sushi Bar: 4/5 Seaweed Salad was a total hit as it always is, very refreshing and light with strong tones of Sesame. Sushi bar at the time we were there was picked over pretty well, not too many rolls available but we did try the California and Crab roll. Overall, it was solid. If I had to get picky, the rice was a bit much compared to the typical sushi roll but the taste was good

Salad Bar: 4/5 Great selection of greens and toppings with several options for dressing. Personally, I rarely get a salad from a buffet and I passed on the salad bar this time around.

Desert Bar: 2/5 Not too many selections for deserts compared to your typical buffet. There were a few cookies and cakes. Extra point added since they did have a operating ice cream machine with frozen yogurt

Hot Bar: 4/5 When it comes to asian food, this place absolutely nailed it. They had several chicken dishes and noodle dishes. I would have loved to see some vegetable and more seafood dishes. Crawfish were overcooked and the crab rangoons seemed to be a bit off tonight, filling on the crab rangoon was not a hit by any means

American Hot Bar: 4/5 The food selection here was small but did feature the typical buffet foods (spare ribs, pizza, shrimp, etc) I typically pass on this section but we did try a few items and they were good

Mongolian Grill: 4/5 We did not order any food from here but the selections were great especially the meats. They had shrimp, pork and beef Vegetables that were available were also common. It would have been nice to see some sauce selections, this may be a thing already but I did not notice any sauce selections that could be added to the grill

Overall the experience was good, the atmosphere was very noisy most likely due to the tall ceilings and half walls separating the dining area from the kitchen. The seating is pretty close together which we were aware of before visiting. It's nice to see a buffet just a few minutes away from Maricopa. I look forward to our next visit and see if any improvements to the food changes over time. I'd also like to add that the price for this buffet at dinner was $15 a person which compared to other buffets is a great deal. Solid food and it doesn't...

Went there July 2nd, normally drive up to belt line road for Lins. So happy they put one in casa grande. The food was fresh, hot and very tasty. The staff were attentive and friendly. If I could give more stars, I certainly would. Great job Lin’s Grand Buffet!!

Edit- We decided the other day to go to Lin’s for Memorial Day. (Mistake) We pay then go to our table and our waitress takes our drink order. We go get our food, go back to the table and my wife throws up!! So I go to the hostess and ask “can I get two to go boxes please” she says it’s $7.50 a pound for to go. I told her my wife just threw up and we want to take our food home that we just got! She said “$7.50 a pound”! I said on top of the $38 I just spent? She says yeah. I said “we’ll sit down and I hope she doesn’t vomit again”. So as I sit eating looking at my wife with puke on her shirt trying to decide, do I just want to leave and the heck with the $38, or pay another $15-$20 more for take out!! Needless to say we stayed!! Today their food was NOT up to their usual standards, the food tasted old. The waitresses are always nice and courteous when we go there. But we might have made this our last trip there, not because of the food but because y’all pretty much made us eat there with my wife’s puke all over the front of her!!! We always LOVED Lin’s, but not so much anymore…..

Edit: it’s now feb 29th and Lin’s hasn’t even contacted us about our experience!! Haven’t been back since and no...

Went for dinner on a Thursday evening at 5pm. This was our first time there. Staff was very friendly, kind and patient. There was only one family in front at the register. Really no wait at all. The food lines were kept extremely tidy and clean. The fried rice was exceptional, although I did not see any egg in it. The spring rolls and egg rolls were very fresh. As a family of 3, we only took a tiny bit of a serving to be sure we liked it. I took 4 French fries and ate one but it wasn't so much fresh out of the oil. This wasn't that big of a deal considering we didn't go to Lin's to eat French fries. We had the orange chicken which was very fresh but honestly lacked any real orange flavor. The chow mein noodles were really good and fresh. We had a freshly made salad and it was all fresh. We didn't have room left over for any kind of dessert but our daughter who's 8 had jello and fresh fruit and was really pleased. Most memorable was our server Manny. He was super busy but never failed to keep up on drinks and clearing plates. Overall the staff gets high marks. The food was very fresh and very good. I suppose if one has too high of expectations then they might be too picky for what the experience offers. I didn't have to prep it, cook it, serve it, nor did I have to do the dishes. As a wife and mother, I was completely satisfied and will return again. It was a nice treat for an all you can eat buffet. I definitely...

I am writing this review from the restroom stall with my half eaten plate of food still on the table. Ex lax and magnesium citrate don’t have anything on this Lin’s location as far as the expedition of immediate emergency bowl movements. Upon entering, the rude hostess did not ask if we wanted to leave a tip, she wanted to know where we would be leaving the tip. This is very strange practice. The serving line is barely what I would call a buffet. It’s in close proximity with the walking path leaving you no choice but to rub elbows with everyone around you when attempting to fill your plate. And if you’re looking to fill up your plate, this may not be the place for you either. Half of the food selection was empty with no refill in sight. The food, well, just kind of slides right out of you. I wouldn’t recommend this place to the pan handlers trying to get the half eaten food out of Lins dumpster. Very bland, chicken was mushy, not sure they know the difference between sweet and sour sauce or duck sauce. The men’s restroom(where I’m sitting) is atrocious. Pieces of 2x4 lumber and trash on the floor. Expensive food, inexpensive taste. I’m not sure if this visit is saving me a trip to the proctologist or I’ll be in need of one. The only thing else I’m looking forward to is the owners generic copy and pasted response where he leaves the instruction on where his name goes in the response. C’mon Casa Grande, shut this place down.

Upon entering the restaurant I was immediately turned off by the sign telling me how to eat in a buffet style restaurant. It's a small detail that would have been overlooked had the receptionist not asked about a tip before I had even been shown my table. A buffet style restaurant should not be expecting tips. Tips are for full service restaurants. The food was hot, fresh, and constantly being refilled. Unfortunately, the food was also pretty mediocre. Some of the food was a little spicier and some of it was a little sweeter. Other than that, it tasted pretty much the same. The desserts were fresh out of the package and tasted like it. The pot stickers and what I assume were candied ribs (marinated with a sweet merchino cherry sauce) were pretty good. I've been to far worse Chinese buffets, but I've also been to far better. Can't say I'll be back to this one.

I like the Lin’s Grand Buffets that I have tried. At this location, the food was fresh and they had good variations of dishes to try. Unfortunately, for me, everything I tried (bar the sushi) was over-cooked and over flavoured. I did love the sauce on the ribs, but the ribs themselves were over-cooked and dry / hard. I think the highlight would have been the sushi and the shrimp. The atmosphere was so-so and smoke filled the air from the grill. Staff were nice and polite. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. I stopped in to visit here because I had tried the Lin’s Grand Buffet in El Paso. The El Paso location definitely had better food and a better atmosphere. From what I ate and my experience, I would have given it 2 stars, but I decided to give it 3 stars because there’s a really good food selection here.
