SYSTEMICALLY DISAPPOINTING
Arrived as a result of a Google search. The facility is (+/-) a mile west of I-10. The store appeared clean and problem free from the exterior. I utilized the drive thru feature. The store was extremely busy and long lines existed. Unlike some who turned around and left, l was hungry enough to remain and endure. Ordering was straight forward and problem free. Lag time from ordering to presentation was as expected and disappointingly long, but expected given the scope of the lines ahead of me. Girl at the window wasn't very bright, I'm always preplexed why fast food workers believe that my hand is a catch all as the staff combines the receipt and my change into one big heaping mess and then dumps it into my hand expecting me to compensate for their lack of reality coping skills thinking that returning change like this remotely makes sense. Fortunately I was able to compensate, retaining my funding despite the mental breakdown of bad decisions. My food was presented hot, fresh and delicious, but was not problem free. Immediately after driving away, I found my fries to be warm and not hot, they simply lacked anything remotely impressive in the wow department. And while l love green chilies, my double green chili Whataburger was buried in green chilies to the point that a large portion had to be removed. Additionally a significant portion contained inedible fibrous stem matter indicating that the chilies were poorly cleaned. My food was obviously prepared by hand indicating that any prep failures were done willfully, intentionally and deliberately. IF THE STAFF WOULDN'T WANT TO INGEST THE END PRODUCT, THEY SHOULDN'T FEEL OBLIGATED TO SERVE IT. My large soft drink was essentially a cup jammed packed to the top with ice leaving little to no room for the intended product, again this was obviously done deliberately. My hot apple pie was absolutely beyond delicious and unfortunately proved to be the best part of the visit I wasn't expecting perfection, but l truly felt the staff fell well short of projecting their best effort. Definitely wasn't one of my best experiences with this chain.
A SERIOUS INJECTION OF PRIDE WOULD GO A LONG WAY HERE.
PLEASE DO BETTER.
Unfortunately based upon my visit, I would not recommend patronizing this...
Read moreIt's a new restaurant, so I'm being kind with the 2 stars. Upon arriving we ordered, the girl was kind. Although an employee was in the lobby to take a 30 minute lunch break, the woman manager woman came out to raise her voice and said 30 minutes only - in front of us. We were taken back by this interaction as the boy on break seemed like he was 16 and she pointed and shouted. Anyway we continue to order then being told ranch is extra? $0.50 for just ranch seems like a rip off when the average meal is $10 to begin with. The company seems quite frugal. They brought out the wrong size fries and made it a point to take back the medium side to exchange it for the large and said because "they have to". Again, frugal and seemed kind of gross to take back something they brought out? THEN we're eating and then the manager comes out to tell the boy he "needs to return to work now" when 30 minutes has not even passed. We've concluded that we would not want to work for this manager as she appeared rude. ALSO while we are still in the lobby eating they're having a full work meeting in front of their register of who is doing well and not? Which definitely discouraged this family of 5 from ordering desserts. I wouldn't mind trying this restaurant again, but we will definitely drive 40 minutes to Chandler instead of giving our money to this disrespectful manger who demeans their crew in front of...
Read moreI went to just get drinks, tea to be specific, one sweetened one unsweetened, I have had no corals with wataburger up till this point, even though this has been a reoccurring issue, but today I wanted to find out the problem, so I drove back (I live 5 mins away) and asked them how they made there tea the lady then responds "with tea bags" I say ok what kind of water do you use "filtered hot water" is what she told me.. If that is true then why does it taste like spoiled milk, I then say it doesn't taste right, no "sorry" no "how so" just "oh it's old then" she says it's old. So she knowingly served old tea. From what I understand, she was nice before but now, she through me a look and scoffed as she handed me the new drink I order, witch was a DR pepper, I don't like making a fuss but it's been going on for so long ever since the new one opened on florance Blvd I finally said something and got nothing fixed just someone telling me they served me old tea then being disrespectful after I ordered something else, hope everyone has a good day sorry for being sour I just...
