Unfortunately is the closest chipotle near us (and we love chipotle) I do not understand how is that this location has a 4.6 stars, than again those reviews are from almost a year ago and the others are older than that (maybe a different crew?). I have had several problems with this specific location in the past , from giving me the wrong bag, providing inconsistent information about their food, to charging me extra by accident; I get it they are busy and things happen, however I’ll focus this review solely on yesterday’s visit (2/8/2018).
Arrived to the store closed around 8:00 pm. They had 5 team members behind the line and only one girl of them making food, she took maybe 5 minutes or more to put the bowl together for the customer in front of me and since I was just standing there it sounded like the customer was a regular, while they kept flirting the whole time she kept saying “well that’s different from the other times” (don’t care if you are trying to get asked out, I really don’t mind but if you are the only person helping maybe you can wait until next visit?. After 4 or 5 minutes wait since they forgot his tortilla and sides she kept going back and forth; she asked for help, this other girl the come out from the side approaches to the sink where they wash their hands but to my surprise she just grabbed paper towels, took her glasses off wiped the grease from her face the continued on grabbing the box of gloves from the top part of the holder grabbed a bunch of gloves took two and staked the rest back to the box and sure enough back to the holder for the next team member to use. After all that she came up to me and asked what I wanted I felt bad because she did asked politely and said hi, so I order my two bowls, 5 seconds later the first girl said she was done so told her to leave the line, while repeating my order from the beginning I noticed their meats were cold, I’m assuming the food warmers were already off to save time after closing (didn’t you guys learn your lesson after all the bad media for no following simple steps to keep food safe; is it more important to leave early than customers’ health?). At the end the girl that was supposed to charge me took her sweet a** time to come back to the register, no she wasn’t busy, she actually saw me ignored the fact I’ve been waiting for awhile and kept laughing and joking around with I can only assumed the manager since she was wearing this a dragan ball-z sweater but holding papers like she was counting the food; the little girl (shorter) cane up to me saw that I was upset and she kept laughing and saying to me “I’m sorry” (not ver convincing when you are laughing and with a face like I should chill out).
The worst part is that I shouldn’t have to feel like I have to put up with this just because I don’t have another location/option down the street. You are getting paid to do a...
Read moreHere's a description of my experience at this place. If you want a fast description, then maybe scroll to a shorter comment or go to the very bottom of this comment where I give my overall rating, but I like to be as fair and thorough as possible while doing my reviews. Anyway, I'm no food expert but it doesn't take an expert to see how this store has been going down for the past few years. Last year, when I was eating here when I ordered a burrito bowl, there was an adult cockroach leg in my food. When I brought it up to one of the servers, she freaked out and said, "omg, usually we only see the little ones'. This infuriated me. First of all, they just incriminated themselves and, second of all, this had been a persisting issue that they didn't even bother resolving. At this point, this renders their food inedible. Though they offered a replacement, I kindly said no as my thought process was that their whole current batch at that time was contaminated with this cockroach leg. Anyway, this year I was hoping that they'd improve and today I found chicken pieces in my burrito bowl. I'm vegetarian and had ordered a sofritas bowl. Once again, I'm disappointed with this store location. Personally, chipotle is my go to comfort food and I'd still go to other chipotle places like the one in Maricopa but this store has betrayed my trust twice. My giving it a second chance is hopeful but it seems hopeless at this store. If the manager is reading this, here's my advice: 1) clean up and inspect your food before serving (have basic quality control) for safety's sake. 2) maybe place your meat options separate from your non meat options so you don't cross contaminate. Anyway, customer service is 3 stars because they were at least willing to admit their fault, though lacking clear solutions. Management would be a 1 star because they don't seem to be doing their job making sure the place is clean and well kept. Food would be a 1 star due to the multiple unpleasant experiences I had at this location. Overall, I give this casa grande chipotle store a 1 star because safety is the priority and they don't seem to be concerned with...
Read moreSame issues others are having. "Management" is horrible. Staff is ungrateful and wants to address issues by saying "You're lucky" based off prior service history. Staff does not listen to orders and does not charge correctly based off what you say and when given the opportunity to correct their mistake(missed charging for item) would rather argue. I stated I was not charged for an item...I could have easily walked away without paying...instead I gave them the opportunity to correct it and paid for it. Also was charged for a side(chips) that I did not request but relented and just went ahead and paid for that too. When bringing this up to the "manager" who walked over to intercede... she decided to bring an attitude stating I was yelling at her staff. Not the case...I turned to walk away(as can be seen in video if needed) and she began saying "feel lucky you were charged less last time" At this point I told her we needed to take this off the front line and stepped away to a table where the "store manager" finally appeared. This person had 0 control of her staff member. The "manager" kept telling me they were under new management and were working on these issues. I've been coming to this facility since it was opened. Nothing is being worked on...it's just constant turn over and the latest generation of staff just wants to be argumentative and belligerent instead of addressing real...
