Bob Evans — Restaurant in Cascade Charter Township

Horrible experience! I had an online order that was supposed to be ready @ 10:19. I went inside the restaurant @ 10:30 to inquire about my order and the guy working putting his hands out and said go back to your car its not ready after i provided my name. It was fine that it wasnt ready im patient. I called back inside 5 minutes later i advised that i wasnt going to come back inside due to his hostility, he stated i wasnt ready and hung the phone up. I called back just to cancel my order the energy was completely unnecessary on a Saturday morning. He didnt answer so i opened the door and asked to please cancel my order i encountered more condescending rudeness. I know that he may be overwhelmed due to the unfortunate circumstances but being rude is not a way to treat people. This is not his restaurant so he should want to represent it in a way that he would want to represent his own place of business. Its unfortunate but i wont go back. I really want a positive experience we are all in a bad situation, but your approach matters when stress is already a factor in most lives during the pandemic. I hope he has a...

We were appalled! Although the food was good, the filth and lack of cleanliness will prevent us from ever dining there again.

First of all, the female manager had mid length hair and failed to tie it up or put a hair net on. She was cooking. Same thing with another female server. Out of the entire staff, only one person wore gloves (part of the time). We observed the cook using bare hands to handle bacon and to put shredded cheese on the salad. Food was picked up off of the dirty counter and put on a plate to serve. Food was also picked off a plate and thrown back on the grill. All of this with bare hands!

Then a server takes a dish towel, wipes up a mess on the floor and puts the towel back on the service counter where the food is!

The server with the tattoos on her backside needs to pull up her pants. Made me lose my appetite.

Health Inspectors need to get on task with this place, and they need the manager to lead by example for crying out loud!! I hate to think about what also goes on there that we did not observe. The place is a dumpster.

3-Course Dinner-3-Course Debacle. I had the cheese potato soup for starters. The server brought the bacon topping after I finished my soup. Ordered fried chicken breast with buffalo sauce for main course. First he brought chicken strips. After waiting 5+ minutes for the chicken breast (while everyone else on the table was eating) he brought the chicken breast, with not buffalo sauce. He then informed me that they don't have buffalo sauce, even though it is listed on the menu. He didn't tell they didn't have buffalo sauce because he thought I said BBQ sauce. But I didn't get that either. After the table was cleared and my son ordered a dessert, I had to remind him that I got a dessert with my meal.
