Mac and Cheese!!! Do I need to say more? LOL! Wasn't sure what to expect the first time I went to Noodles & Company but I was pleasantly surprised with the diverse menu they have. Most people think of them as noodle dishes only but they have everything from quality salads, cheese steak sandwiches, Thai Curry Soup, Whole Grain Tuscan Linguine, home-style Mac and Cheese, and much, much, more. With that said...I think they do a good job of limiting themselves to food that is similar in the way its cooked\prepared and not going out of their comfort zone. They know what they do well and they are not trying to cook cheeseburgers or tacos.
They have a good web site that explains the company, the menu, etc. I really hate companies that do not have quality web site. Sorry but per peeve! Their menu shows calories for all items and they also have a nutrition and allergy guide for everything. The have the "add on combo" where you can add soup or salad for $1. For $1 it's silly not to add a side.
What I order: When not eating healthy I can't resist the Wisconsin Mac & Cheese. Sure I add the Parmesan encrusted chicken breast sometimes.
When eating somewhat healthy I like to get any of the salads or whole grain pastas with veggies and grilled chicken.
I have never tried the sandwiches but looking forward to trying soon. They all look good.
Good alternative to fast food and quicker than a full service restaurant....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood is average. What I really came here to review is the management (or possibly team leader?). We stopped in about 4:30pm on 1/9/22. Very few people in the restaurant. 3 employees and 1 āmanagerā named Kelly. She was friendly to the customers, but insanely rude and condescending to the poor employees, to the point where a young girl looked like she was about to cry. There was no reason for the rudeness. We had waited a few minutes for our food, we werenāt rushing them or being impatient. The girl was packing online orders and Kelly very loudly kept degrading her work in front of all customers sitting in the lobby. As many times as she stopped to scold this girl, she could have packed our to-go order herself. Thereās a difference between being a leader and being a boss, and Kelly is a boss. She doesnāt work alongside her employees, she seems to act above them. Thatās not what a leader does. Places are already severely short staffed, and her constantly degrading and embarrassing employees (especially in front of customers) is going to cause them to leave. I was not the least bit impressed. Highly suggest training correction or restructuring before more employees are lost. All 3 employees looked like they were about to walk...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUsually this place is pretty good, I like the food. Did an ubereats order and when it was delivered I had the most pathetic salad I have ever seen (I ordered a med chicken) and it was literally spring mix with a couple cucumbers and tomatoes at the bottom, no dressing. My kid didn't get her juice, I didn't get my soup, and her food was cold when it was delivered though the estimated time was average. When I called the restaurant the woman on the other end kept giving me such long and awkward pauses of silence while I guess trying to compensate me that I had to just say "nevermind" and hang up. I ended up getting a full refund since I received maybe $5 of my $20 meal. Probably won't ever order from here through ubereats again, and will definitely be double checking if I decide to order in person. It really isn't hard to check a bag and make sure that some one is receiving their full order, especially on a night where it's snowing and business is likely to be slower anyways....
